Partially, but not excactly. Yes the pirates capture (/kill?) Mer-Queen Athena, but as far as I can tell from the 5-min preview, Triton bans music from Atlantica...but he doesn't engage anyone in battle, nor is the plot as epic as THIS vid. This video shows that even TLM could have potential to be epic, dykwim?

Pirates kill Mer-Queen Athena, so Triton engages a royal battle against all Humans, and in the meantime Ursula gains her magic powers and is thrown out of Atlantica! Now THAT would've been a movie to see...and a DEFINITE prequel to the original 1989 film!

it's a movie about 300 spartans that fight the HUGE persian army. i saw it, it was not that good. i liked movies like braveheart and gladiator better. they just sold 300 on DVD, you know. if you want you could borrow it or buy it & watch it, or just read about it for yourself. now don't be offended or anything, but you sound SERIOUSLY deprived. i didn't like 300 but i at least tried to find out what it was all about. you should do the same.
