  • I have listened to all three versions of this song.I like martika's version of it better, but this is good version of it to.

I did'nt like tracie spencers version of it. it was to kid like.

  • What was with the black and white "Jezebel" at the beginning?

  • Hey, wasn't she in lethal weapon 2 as mel gibsons love interest?

  • I was just thinking the same thing...I think it is her. That Haagendas chick LOL

  • Martika's version (although a cover) is much better.

  • A Madonna dance clone?

  • I seen this video when it first came out in 1988 i believe on a show called NightTracks on TBS, and it thought it was amazing.

I thought the girl in the video was freakin HOTT!!

Then i never seen them again. :(

    BUT.....

This song is better than anything i've heard in the last 14 years, and it barely cracked the top 40 in 1988.

This song comes out today, it blows everything out of the water due to lack of competition.

THAT just goes to show you how great the 80's really were.

  • i just discovered this version,martikas is good,but i love this one =] the 80's rule!

  • Hey, hey, hey...wait a minute. Is she the girl from Lethal Weapon 2? WTF??

  • Believe it or not, her band was hardly heard of in my neck of the Pacific woods. Martika's cover got plenty of airtime though. The first time I saw her, legally on my own in the cinema, was in Blame it on the Bellboy. Only saw her [getting boffed] in Lethal Weapon 2 a bit later in hotel TV, during this short college job in '91, where my team was billeted at the time. Nevertheless I still hold young Patsy as my standard of beauty, even now.

  • Oh Heavenly Father, please send me back to 1980's. Back to a time when life was as good as the Music that came from out of That Decade.

  • Je ne me souvenais plus de cette chanson...merci!

  • the girl, letal weapon 2 ? or no

  • yes it is. she also stared in a film i believe called "insect to buttefly"

  • @patrixiomadrid I was wondering the same thing. I'm gonna get the movie and find out looks just like her

  • @lambert247 Yep it is. I looked it up on IMDB.It's the very same girl.

That awesome work of art we call her body is hers

  • @lambert247 yep its the same girl. i looked it up on imdb. that hot face and awesome work of art we call her body is hers. her name is patsy kinset. she still looks how today and i think she's a judge on some talent show

  • Patsy it's so sexy , so pretty! she was the most beautiful girl in to 80'!!!

  • love the gay guy dancing in the background :)

  • niceeee

  • super kawalek!

  • This takes me back to the 80's when I was young and working in Italy.

  • Good Song I like it,,,

  • memories of 80's amazing

  • Nice song and i love this song!

  • PATSY was born in 1968.....

  • なつかしぃ~~~涙でそう!

  • 私もそう思います!

  • Dí que sí tío, dí que sí... cuanta razón tienes tron

  • always always loved this one

  • She has gone down hill now, too much botox, has the face of an over stretched balloon.

    Good tune tho. :)

  • Thanks for posting this vid.Da was one of my favorit song in the 80's.Patsy is so hot!

  • I love that song !!! Thanks for the good sound quality!

  • been looking for this song. I didn't remember who sang it. Good Stuff.

  • Good music to dance 3-count

    and 4-count hustle.

  • Man, she was a cunning stunt in those days! What she ever saw in Liam Gallagher is anyone's guess? Some rather erotic performances in both Lethal Weapon 2 (with her 2 lethal weapons!) & again in the straight-to-video/dvd movie Time Bomb with Michael Biehn where her assets where on display again. Nice one err..sorry, two Patsy! Oh &, also, not a bad singer too!

  • Suuuuper pioseneczka,aż ciało rwie się do tanća aaahhh!!:)) Love the 80`s!

  • i prefer this version too

  • EW's voice doesn't sound so thin and screamy than martikas, I prefer this version

  • I would trade eternity for a single night out back in this age of dreams, careless thinking and freedom to live in the clouds, gee, what a great preparation for the challenge of adulthood, this is forever people, sorry for the new kids spoiled with choices who can not treasure something like this.

  • Sounds like S.A.W.

  • por ke no se hará musica así en la actualidad!!!

  • What a childish pillock.

  • That´s what teen years are for, to dream and to be stupid, maybe you didn´t excercise your right to puberty and now you are bitter, come on excercise it, claim what is yours, never´s too late.

  • かわいいよパッツィ

  • A big hit in France (#13) in 1989 but it was then their 2nd and last single to chart !

I love both this and Martika's version(discovered recently),have a slight preference for EW's because of the memories :)

  • Beautifull woman... the colourfull sound of the 80's... I don't see this kind of passion in todays music anymore.

  • I love this song and love this woman and what a great decade.

  • me encanta y ella guapisima

  • Joder hacia un monton de tiempo que no escuchaba esta cancion! y ahora la puse y la empecé a recordar por completo, fantastica! :-)

  • I believe this is the original version, which was released in the late 80s. Martika made the remake in the early 90s.

  • Jesus Christ how many artists covered this song? Martika, Tracie Spencer and now this!!! How is that even possible! Personally, I like Martika's version since I've been a fan of hers since her Kids Incorporated years.

  • They were all done probably at the same time...Anyone know who did it first?

Recently found out this song was on Martika's hits set. I like Eight Wonder's best. Much better production and arrangement plus Patsy's delivery is better.

Tracie's take was passable. She was too young.

  • This is the original 100% !

  • no , this is martikas song from 1989.

  • You wrong, because this song was in album Fearless that relised in 1988. From Wikipedia "May 1988 saw the release of another single "Cross My Heart" which proved to be almost as successful chart (#6 in Switzerland, #10 in Italy, #13 in UK and France and #56 in the U.S.). Eighth Wonder's next album Fearless followed in July 1988, and by October it had achieved almost 500,000 sales internationally." Martika made cover in her album "Martika" in 1989.

  • This was a hit in 1988 for Eighth Wonder.

  • good god she's beautiful.

  • wow! first time I saw this version. grew up with Martika's version. you're right!! she is hot!!! I used to dream of hot European girls when I was a kid and her face pretty much matches what was in my head.

  • She is still extremely sexy now.

  • Geiler 80 iger Sound. Kann man heute noch besser hören als damals

  • she's fucking hot

  • Love this song. Long live the 80's!

  • Lene kongen po shif ket vet si o si shpirt.

  • she was a little fuckie back then

  • Did not know Patsy Kensit was in this video.

  • Who cover it first Eighth Wonder, Martika or Tracy Spencer?

  • Che bona che è lei.

  • The very song that described how I feel when I fell hard for my then bf (now my husband). A song that I played over & over again. I dedicated this song to him then & even now I still v much feel the same.

  • she was really hot...

what can I say, she was ispirational for every girl in the 80's

  • I really had the hots for her when I was in college, she's a real beauty. This song is awesome, I loved it when they played it in clubs, and speaking of, the music in the 80's made the club scene an adrenaline rush like rap today never could. Those were good times!

  • OMG she is hot like fuck man! only started 2 knew her in lethal weapon 2 movie and she's so sexy inside. british really rules big time in the 80s eh! kim wilde, samantha fox, bonnie tyler, bananarama, 2 name a few. need i say more? :D

  • really wonder i love her

  • I love this version better than Martika's version of this song! Thank you very much for sharing this. Have a nice day.

  • Great song, I love it!!!!!!

  • Ah...yeah! Big thanks for this clip! Cross my Heart was my big Fave at the second Part of 1988. Loved (of course love still) this song. But.... boar... hold me... this is Patsy Kensit??? I've never know it!!! *gosh*

  • ahhhh this song takes me back... she sure was a pretty one
