Every generation has its music and all should be appreciated, although some is

I remember Durante from my childhood, and my father coming home from work when the Schnaze was on tv and tap dancing across the living room. This is simply amazing. I am a teenager and I love Jimmy Durante. New music can be catchy at times but it doesn't have the emotion and feeling of older songs. Now, everything is overproduced and overhyped. It makes me sad that things like "Tik Tok" can get millions of viewers while this beautiful song only gets thirty five thousand. At least some of us know good music (:

@fredorulz1 On Durante's voice we could do worse than quote Noel Coward another great performer who "couldnt sing". He put it like this: "I cant sing but I know HOW to sing". That covers the schnozz, doesnt it. And also remember: he became a well known star back before the First World War as a piano player..Now THAT he could do. It's a shame there's not too much of that on the 'tube. Anyone got something?
