In most recreational games 10-20 and below, most people will act strong when they are weak or vice versa. This can be the speed with which they put their chips in, the motion w their hands, etc.. It's not the same with every player. some tell are exact opposites w different players, but if ur gonna gamble with them, its worth calling if u think u can use it against them later.

I chew gum all the time, and a friend of mine told me that when i play poker i'd chew faster when i was bluffing and stop chewing all together when i had a hand.

A friend of mine told me that after I bluffed I would always start riffling chips waiting for them to call or fold. I am not sure if that is a proper tell, but maybe if people start playing with their chips it is a sign of nervousness.

if you try to pick up on peoples tells they will get you into that thinking game and do the same tell but have a hand and you screw yourself with a average hand

Good vid. I've picked up a number of tells on players by how they put their chips in. They key is to study that person closely to figure out what their tell is - slow put in means strong or weak? Quick put in means strong or weak? And so forth.

there are no universal tells and if u base your reads on what u think is a universal tell you may lose a lot of money.
