I agree with you, nicknames are sometimes so stupid... Not in this case I think. "Nacho" as a nickname existed earlier -centuries before in fact- than that Mexican food you mentioned before. Actually Nacho as a nickname for Ignacio is full of tradition in Spain and other Spanish speaking countries, from the Middle Ages till today. Just a little respect for all those Nachos out there ;)

This is my favorite version of La Bamba. It's more traditional than Richie Valens' version, but still has a definitely contemporary feel to it.
