@nathanbrown19 I have a question out of curiosity. I saw her wai kru and it looks like chaiya but the guard she uses the rest of the time and also the kicks are not like what I thought chaiya should looks like. Would you enlighten me on that? Thanks

@rockmanxja Only the Wai Kru is done in the Muay Chaiya style. The fight is done in the normal Muay Thai style of today.

@rawaimuaythai thanks for the answer. how come you don't use muay chaiya? Does it mean that it less effective in a ring fight? I mean no offense here just wondering maybe be cause of the rules that limits the effectiveness of the style? I'm Thai and did some muay before and I'm very interested in muay chaiya. @rockmanxja To rockmanxja i'm boxer in this fight. I do love muay chaiya and i respect my teacher, i'm originaly profestional muaythai fighter i live, eat, sleep as normal muaythai fighter around 4 months before this fight i been learning muay chaiya i ride a bus 8-9 hours on friday afternoon from Udonthani to Bangkok just to learn muay chaiya at baan changthai and that's how much i wantted to learn. Muay chaiya is the effective fight i know but it take years to learn and use with gloves

@rockmanxja unlike normal muaythai which you can learn few months and fight. I'm new in muay chaiya and yes, i still learning. If you ever fight on the ring which they mostly do for business and you learn what you love do one day you will realize what i'm trying to tell you it's just too hard to explain just find me on facebook if more question...oh yes, some times we can't use chaiya on the ring because of rules just remember chaiya they train to kill new muaythai we train for sport.
