  • THATS NOT JOHNNY!!!!!!!

  • He's hot & my class is reading it

  • I love Johnny tremain the book.. By Esther Forbes.. And PS Johnny (Hal stalmaster) was H O T in the making of this movie. Luv him!!

  • Johnny was hot in the filming of this movie..

  • I just finished a 3 part movie about Johnny tremain. I LOVED IT!!

  • Who played Johnny?

  • Comment removed

  • @Sportygrl57 Hal Stalmaster (he's 72 now)

  • we are reading the book in literature and I have a stupid test on it tomorrow

  • @TheAppleGuitarist tell me about it

  • all thru grade school i watched this movie! i love it! i couldn't get it for my children as hard as i tried.....maybe for the grand kids?

  • Ol' Walt made this movie because he was getting a rep for being soft on Communism....the movie is not historically accurate, but it captures a feeling, and face it, you'd have to be emotionally dead to be untouched by the film. It's a Cold War film, pure and simple.

  • The Boston Tea Party was a False flag Military Black opts in the Guise of a Tax from the European Secrete society of Freemasons. If one believes that we won this you are mislead as you probably are about WW2. If you think we escaped the income tax then why is their a Federal Reserve bank created in 1913 & then the IRS all owned & operated by the Queen as a Corporation. My ? to you all is why are your wages Taxed why is your food gas Clothing Taxed. What happens if you cant pay taxes.

  • Walt Disney's logo is"Capturing your imagination" America was founded on MASONIC FREEMASONRY or Kabbala.Freemasonry is the founding of "America" Freemasons sought "A"merca or the western star

This means the Western Star Venus. Venus is the Red White & Blue star. The statute of LIBERTY is Thier LIGHT BEARER COLUMBIA Shes their Goddess.Your Capital Building's are TEMPLES with each having a CORNER STONE from the FREEMASONS. They ORDAIN their CRAFT with WINE CORN & OIL. Vigilantcitizen or freemantv

  • in the book, they pranked johny and gave him a broken bottle to hold the molden silver instead of accidently touching it :/

  • That is SO not how he burns his hand...

  • this book was my summer reading project... *cough* unfortunately *cough*

we have to write journal entries in johnny's POV for all twelve chapters, which isn't much. the book was fine, just not in my taste.

  • What a lousy bunch of comments. I have seen the movie many times. I read the book 5 or six times and recently as a few months back. I read the book that was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in history and is the underlying backing. My people were in Boston, Sam Admas and John are my cousins as is Captain Parker at Lexington. The facts here are mostly accurate and the people fairly well cast and except for their teeth and general health being better they look the part. Its a great little movie!

  • Assassin's Creed Revelations E3 trailer song

  • This is an awful film version of a very great book. Disney dumb-down the book and turned it into mind-numbing nonsense for consumption by a moronic public.

  • Those idiots, first of all johnny has blonde hair and a widows peak. Second of all its the colonial period, why doesn't he look and sound british? Disney retards

  • @MondoManStudios Because while they may have been British subjects, they were still Americans, and as early as 1720, quite a few people had noticed a distinct difference between Americans and the residents of the mother country - Samuel Johnson being one of them.

  • @biebersgirl2000 That's because you are lost and a sheeple and believe you are living in a free world now but because you think this book sucks is the reason life sucks and will continue to get worse as each minute ticks on the clock and you sit in front of the tv and let tryanny take over your hopeless life.

  • I finished the book, "Johnny Tremain" yesterday and it is one of the best books I have ever read! It's a must read.

  • I'm almost done with the book. I'm not looking forward to the movie anymore.

  • I JUST finished the book -- it was GREAT :D I can't wait to see the movie!!

  • I don't really care what other YT commentators say, in terms of negative criticism. I like this TV show .. always have. And to be sure .. Disney, as a person, did have his faults, shortfalls & weaknesses. But what human being doesn't. It's what people do right & good that counts the most. And Disney made good, stirring, inspiring product. Much of it was ahead of its time, too.

  • I forgot Disney used to respect America.

  • @SurvivingSTL I used to wonder what I wouls do when the Soviets invaded, now the Soviets are running the Whitehouse. I still can't beleive it.

  • i love the movie. i'm getting the book.

  • The movie, Johnny Tremain may be a bit corny, I've not read the book but what truly matters is the attempt at inspiring those who watch or read it to appreciate what makes America unique. We are only 2oo plus old, why did we surpass other countries approaching 5-6 hundred or more centuries old?

  • ive seen part of this movie in VA history class... good movie.

  • y r they singin?!

doesnt look like the book ...

    weird...

  • MFG! i love youu so <3<3<3

  • History Class? Any History class in the United States that shows this to their students is PATHETIC. This is great entertainment, but is certainly not educational material!

  • I read the book. :)

  • ...for we are the sons, we are the sons,, the sons of Bigotry.... we will follow oh, we will follow oh

...for we are the sons, we are the sons,, the sons of Bigotry.... we will follow oh, we will follow oh

  • What in the world are history teachers using valuable class time to show this movie for? It's just a fiction MOVIE. Read the documents of the era for Pete's sake. Leave this and 1776 for family time. God help us if we, as a nation, get our history this way.

  • we're watching this in my social studies class right now. i like it and each time we have to stop i get anxious because i want to know what happens!

  • yea, the cruicible had a crack in it and it leaked on his hand in the book.

  • ya you forgot that dove did it to get even with johnny

  • book was great, want to see the whole movie

  • I had it on my account JohnnyTremainMovie which got hacked, but i'm re-uploading it here! =)

  • a man can stand up...the last words of this piece of poop book...

    im faving this vid

  • Book is made of pure suck.

  • If I recall correctly, the first time I read Johnny Tremain, it was because of being on the required reading list. I was mad as hell, especially when the books on the school's list always had a beginning that was too slow.

But then I got into it. And I really enjoyed the book, so much so that not long afterwards, I went back and reread. It must've been several years now, but all this talk about the Am. Rev. makes me want to go look for it.

But the movie looks like it butchered it. Sorry. XP

  • I haven't seen this in my history class. We read like 10 books that take place around this time and Johnny Tremain was one of them. I think the book is better. I don't really know which is better 'cause I didn't see the movie.

  • I'm reading the book now and I remember watching that movie in 5th grade. Don't remember much of it though. I agree about the book thing any way. Usually books are way better than their movie counterparts. Look at Eragon or Harry Potter.

  • I read the book in 5th grade, We are studing this time period now...Its been 3 years, Its a decent book, For a book as old as it is, its pretty good, not Twilight good, but good

  • This book won a Newberry Medal and is going to be enjoyed by people for generations to come. The most Twilight can hope for is a soiled mattress to cushion it at the bottom of a trash heap.

  • I agree.

Sons of Liberty are so much more kickass than sparkly vampires.
