  • where can i buy a CD of Tagaram Bhil? I went to the website you have linked in your profile, but it is a FaceBook page and I don't use FaceBook.

  • I stayed at tagaram's home for 2 days. Got a little drunk and he put up a campfire and started playing the algoza for a good 45 mins. I came to tears in the first song he played. Turns out he was just improvising... i jammed a bit the next day with him on guitars and he gifted me a matka and Morchang. Amazing amazing man, incredibly well travelled. And his wife cooked us some amazing rajasthani food.

  • mind blowing

  • Tangaram ....you are awesome...pure soul...pure music

  • I'm fascinated by this video - I listen to it at least once a week. What's the name of the mouth harp that the other player is playing with his fingers?

  • in rajasthan they call it the morchang....everywhere else its a jaws harp or jews harp....thanks for listening!

  • Thank you. I thought it might be. He's brilliant.

  • Death of autotune! Moment of silence!!! (it was a joke so dont flame me)

  • Wonderful! Hypnotic, stimulating, relaxing! This a band I'd be in. Music is the bridge. LOVE/HEAL

  • I disagree with you. Your comments smell of arogance and sarcasm. And all great people were humble and down to earth, like Sain Zahoor. Did your dad invent the Algoza, did ur dad create all those rags. Please don't discredit other artist. If ur dad got famous playing algoza that does not mean u go about disrepecting, other people by saying they copy just because they play algoza. Get a life, grow up. There are way more talent people. By doing what you are doing you are discrediting ur father.

  • listen mate there is no need for giving offensive statments, algoza is rajasthani and punjabi and the song is lovely no doubt. Oh and another thing, famers are the honorable warriors, look at the ancient Greeks or the Romans, the Greek Hoplite and the Roman legionnaire were farmers who took up arms when they were needed, the true warriors, farmers were portrayed to be the perfect citizen who wielded his weapon defended his nation according to greek and roman defintions of the word "citizen"

  • yeah ! the music of kings, not peasants

  • @morchangstudios : How can I buy the CD. I am based in Taipei, Taiwan.

  • Pristine, beauty, un spoilt charm of simple rustic, warm people of Rajasthan, India.

  • The music is very enticing... except for the beat (a tad loud, IMO).

    I like this very much!

  • when music is uploaded to the net a certain amount of compression is applied in the conversion process thus squeezing the track and reducing vocals and other instrumentation....please also remember that this is poor

quality and as we need to sustain our living you are more than welcome to buy a DVD which will be higher quality.

    thanks for listening!
