This is truly amazing!! I love this!! I mostly love the technique!! I play flute myself but it's a Silver Gemeinhardt flute and I can't play anywhere near him!! Amazing!!
Please keep producing and make us blessed with this type of music. We all would love to buy cd of this. pls suggest where could I find cd/dvd? There is no match of this music anywhere in the world...it comes from hitory and soil of the great rajsthan. Pls support it and make it live longer.
Just a suggestion - if your studio has stopped producing recordings, why not collaborate with some reputed music companies in India. So many people are interested in buying CD/DVD,,,,, kindly consider the request. Thank you !

I stayed at tagaram's home for 2 days. Got a little drunk and he put up a campfire and started playing the algoza for a good 45 mins. I came to tears in the first song he played. Turns out he was just improvising... i jammed a bit the next day with him on guitars and he gifted me a matka and Morchang. Amazing amazing man, incredibly well travelled. And his wife cooked us some amazing rajasthani food.
I m really fascinated by this instrument. I play saxophone and a punjabi algoza. I really wish if someone could help me get this algoza.. I tried this last time i was in jaiselmer but could not get it.
Has morchang studios released any cds or other recordings of some of these artists? I'm really enjoying going through your collection of videos - incredible talent!
Awesome !! What a pace , a high tempo , instrumental with perfect sound recording. Every beat , every sound is audible from all the instruments. And nothing to say about the stamina of Tagaram , Great Artist , great video, great sound, great recording.

sheare musical genius....India has many many more hidden wonders than we indian belive we know.....I wonder how these folk musicians of remote indian villege get such an extraordinary musical knowledge....
how long does it normally take for someone to be able to circulate air for the dubble flute because its so unatural for the body I would think it would take months
I'm fascinated by this video - I listen to it at least once a week. What's the name of the mouth harp that the other player is playing with his fingers?
I disagree with you. Your comments smell of arogance and sarcasm. And all great people were humble and down to earth, like Sain Zahoor. Did your dad invent the Algoza, did ur dad create all those rags. Please don't discredit other artist. If ur dad got famous playing algoza that does not mean u go about disrepecting, other people by saying they copy just because they play algoza. Get a life, grow up. There are way more talent people. By doing what you are doing you are discrediting ur father.
my lang is punjabi .kamiso khan is the best algoza palyer,u cant say any ones did u invented this ,sain zahoor is singer and sufi he is great,if some one can good do he is best .ADNAN sami is best and fastest piano player did he invented this?

listen mate there is no need for giving offensive statments, algoza is rajasthani and punjabi and the song is lovely no doubt. Oh and another thing, famers are the honorable warriors, look at the ancient Greeks or the Romans, the Greek Hoplite and the Roman legionnaire were farmers who took up arms when they were needed, the true warriors, farmers were portrayed to be the perfect citizen who wielded his weapon defended his nation according to greek and roman defintions of the word "citizen"
