As I remember when I was in all the diesel powered subs were decommissioned .

It was flying another countries flag but we couldn't get a good look at it. Definitely small, diesel electric I assume. We see Trident nuclear subs coming to and from Kings Bay but this one probably came into Mayport Naval Base for a visit. I would not be anxious to go underwater in that thing.

Looks like an early U-209. Wonder where its from, and what it is doing there. Several south American countries have them, as well as others.
