@xoquixxoqafxo Easily remedied with a Hondata reflash. In fact, I got the reflash particularly because I didn't like it kicking in so high and suddenly in the power band. Redline is also moved up to the engine's true limit (7500 or so).
OP, I hope you're doing this on a closed track with safety measures. ;)
This must be the 2.4 litre not the 3,5 litre?

I believe it is much broader than that - 6,000-7,100, not merely 6,000-7,000.

Thats why Hondata Made the Re-Flash kit for 04-06. Changes Vtec cross over from 6K to 5K and The stock Rev Limiter from 7K to 7.6K.
