I started cake decorating by taking a Wilton's class in 1992. I decorated until 2000, when I started quilts. I'll still do cakes for the kids' birthdays and other special occasions, but not nearly as often. Watch my quilt video and you'll see what has replaced the cakes. Quilts at least last longer.
