i was about 10 years old when i was in my neo geo pocket phase...my mom bought me a blue camo neo geo on ebay...and this guy wound up throwing this game in for free...i had no clue only about 5000 copies of this game exist in the US....i feel special now lolz
This looks fun, the battles look like they can be handled as long as you get the drop on the enemy...I'm also sure there are some hard ass battles where enemies automatically start with the drop on you, gotta find this.
not so difficult once you've upgraded the TS's computer, and get a hang of predicting the AI's moves.
the char clone in this game is lame. one of the hidden TSs looks like a gundam clone too. hated how the last boss(looks like a mec cloned from char's revenge) was easier than the 2nd last boss.
What a great game. I remember completing it several times over as well - I think I managed to get all except two of the secret units. (They would drop randomly in skirmish mode, and I got sick of playing the same levels over and over.)
You manage to make the first level look incredibly difficult - you don't need to kill all the enemies / get all the pickups / walk about so much!
why did the Neo Geo pocket had such a crappy sound? this system´s sound is even worse than Game Gear and Gameboy (i am talking about the 1989 grey GB). When i got My NGPC i thought my system was damaged, sadly it is not...Faselei could have been even better if the game music would have been better.
the sound is better than gameboy! theres some crazy chorusing effect that the gameboy could only do by detuning channels. also, the gameboys sound is amazing too! thousands of devoted chiptune fans can attest to that
I remember when this first came out. It was in the game boy color era. It was considered way advanced for its time. I played the shit out of it simply because it was pure fun. After beating it for 6th time I had to give it a rest. ^_^

yeah it is, it took me awhile to get used to. you gotta a REAL sense of direction. would've helped if the interface included an on-screen compass
