  • You know the difference between TV then and now? Then they actually cared about it. The actors, the directors, the producers, all of them. Most TV programs were labors of love just as much as anything else. They had pride in what they did. These days, it's just a bunch of idiots making money off a bunch of idiots who will watch any crap at all.

  • I always get a kick out of the old tv shows. Saw so many as reruns as a kid on the old black and white sets my grandma would let us have from her rooming house she ran in Huntington, West Virginia.

    For awhile we had a total of five used black and white tv set in our house. Then, one by one, they would burn out and when the last one went my dad bought a color tv. That wasn't until 1978. My mom didn't like tv much, said we should read instead. She was right .

  • The remake of this episode wasn't as good.

  • @viralshadow this is the only 2 hour episode of the original series it has a lot of plot starting as a war movie ending as a science fiction crime drama
