  • Complain about people driving the wrong way on a one way street then proceed to cut through the pedestrian walkway close to the junction, idiot.

  • Taiwanese cops stay away from troubles as much as they can. I hate them, too. Btw, I love ur Chinese. LMAO.

  • Taiwan people are idiots, interesting he lost his breakfeast save the eggs

  • @dancre007 yer an idiot

  • Actually laughed when you said somebody should save the eggs...so wrong to say that in such a situation, but funny nonetheless!

  • Hey man ignore these fucks and keep it real as you always do!!

  • Also, I kinda agree that Taiwanese cops are kind of "useless". They don't have enough authority like the American cops, and are always getting yelled by commoners. I've watched the show Cops and they are like BEASTS. I mean, if you dare to go against an American cop, be ready for a heavy takedown.

  • Like many have said, this is very common within Asia, I really don't know why. Personally I'm Taiwanese, and when I go back to Taiwan, I don't even see cars/scooters giving way for the ambulance to get by, they just ignore it. I don't know about now, whether it changed or not...

  • you f**king right

  • This is truly a statement from a hypocrite. You claimed you love Taiwanese, and yet you look down at us and made a comment like "The Taiwanese treat their own country like a toilet." Oh yeah, you just showed me how much you love Taiwanese.

  • Kai200X, it needs be said: you are in denial (I just read several of your posts). Taiwan is a big mess! I come from NW Europe; I know what 'clean' looks like! In Asia, the Japanese are your best example.

  • What denial? I never once denied some place in Taiwan have problems, but don't generalized Taiwanese people because you saw few bad examples that's all I asked.

  • Oh yeah... just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it won't happen in Canada.

  • You are the one whos bitching about Taiwan. If you know Taiwan is not the only country with problems then why are you bitching??? Funny.

  • Yes, I've also seen that.

  • Its amazing to see how public service workers in other countries do(or dont) do they're job. Just please dont call EMT's "ambulance drivers". Its equivelant to calling you a scooter punk just cause your on a scooter.

  • Actually just thought of a better analogy. Most people in my field(EMS) call motorcycle riders "Organ donors". I dont belive it. Dont hate on all EMTs cause some dumbass Tai EMTs dont know the meaning of infection control.

  • Thats cuz they are busy saving more people, instead of dealing with bureaucratic bullshit such as cleaning up streets.

  • how is it that your dog is always around but you ride there on your scooter?

  • "how is it that your dog is always around but you ride there on your scooter?"

You must not have watched too many of his videos. His dog, always rides with him on the scooter.

  • "if taiwan is a third-world country than china is a 5th world-country". It't typical of you Taiwanese, you like to look down on your 'neighbors'. Take also Vietnam for example; the Taiwanese think they're so superior over them. But the Vietnamese have a whole lot more respect for the environment. This video is an eye opener.

  • Typical??? you must be joking! how the hell would you know about Taiwanese anyway? how would you know all Taiwanese think they are "superior" than people from China and Vietnam? please don't make stupid comment like this, it just show how ignorance you are.

  • Kai200X, I live & work in Taiwan since a couple of years, that's how I know. Trust me, I don't look down on Taiwanese (Well... except for the ones that dirty the place, perhaps :)

  • Just exactly how many Taiwanese people do you know?

  • Tell it like it is Mordeth. No need to explain yourself. Most of the people on YouTube aren't the sharpest pins in the haystack anyway.

  • Dont bother, just leave. Why you live in this disgrace for 8 years??

  • Money. Many Taiwanese parents spent big bucks on their childen's educaiton, so I am pretty sure he made a nice living in my country.

  • Well, for educational concern, dont blame the player, blame the system. XD

  • I don't. I do blame the system, and its been that way for a long long time.

  • you'd better not have an accident one day.or lets see who will save ur life.

  • The bloody gloves just blew me away. :S especailly considering the high amount of HIV Positive people in Taiwan.

  • Poor eggs.. So negelected.

  • While talking shit about Taiwan, did you suppose to film and walk around the accident scene? In the middle of the road? What if that causes more problems?

Man... you are just no better, none of us.

  • i'm not saying that taiwan is the only place with a litter problem... but the way people DENY the problem is the problem..

  • what people?

  • save the eggs!!!! great vids bro... keep them coming.

  • man, this vid sure sparked up a debate...

  • yeah, sure did. Woof.

  • market roads get covered in cabbage leaves and other waste.

I love taiwan, but the truth is the truth.

As for police and EMTs- i've seen accidents happen RIGHT IN FRONT OF POLICE and they ignored it and went on their merry way. i had a bike accident once, it took the police 1/2 an hour to get there, and the EMTs about 45 mins. despite we were only about 3 blocks from a hospital. the woman who hit me got out of trouble by "oh, i didn't see the lights" and "dunno how fast i was going"

  • Unfortunately you and whoever is agruing with me is sadly mistaken my position. I am not saying we don't litter, I am not saying we don't have problems with our systems, but to think we are the only one with problems is just silly to me.

  • Go to nantou... people purposely dump oil on the road to try and make bikers crash... and it's not just in nantou, i've heard stories of it happening in Taipei too - where a shop dumped oil outside to make people crash who would then come to them to fix it..

taiwanese kids run rampant and throw there trash everywhere without any kind of reprimand from their parents..

taxi drivers spit their lovely beetlenut juice all over the road.. old ladies spit consistently too..

  • Go to wherever I want to I can see trash on the street not just in Taiwan but also in US, in Japan, in Canada too

  • Kai... do you actually live in Taiwan? Yes, people litter all over the place. It happens everywhere.

Go to Da Du Huai Park in Taichung and look around the outskirts... there's trash there... and the cleaners just sweep it over the edge of the mounds of earth to hide it... not pick it up..

  • All I want to know is are you saying only Taiwanese people litter all over the place?

  • Great vids bud! Keep the rubber side down...

  • Awesome video mordeth, I like the biased journalist approach. It shows us some of the real things going on in the world.

  • I just wanna say as an EMT in the US im fucking disgusted by what they did. They shouldnt have the right to call themselves EMT's

  • Read sniper152's story about US EMTs then tell me what you think.

  • I can understand your anger. I would be peeved too if some trash like that rears it's ugly head on a place I loved.

  • ..well..

i love Taiwan (rode a few times in Taipei County. What a rush! can't wait to do it again!)

but there are still lots to be improved on this crowded island.

  • the proof of a civilized society, in part anyway, is in how they take care of what has been given them. seems this country doesn't take care of its infrstructure, or its animal life. this is disgusting.

  • ah taiwan my native country. i love it.

  • "A few of those eggs can still be saved" LOL

  • right, endless fucking is able to mirror the high level u stay ....keep it ^^

  • I just think that you will sound more credible if you use other adjectives than Fuck.

  • PROTIP: Fuck is a verb.

  • You are awesomly truthful and for that I think you should be awarded. You're fucking awesome.

  • I guess you know all about truth uh?

  • What can I say? hmm... you keep putting out videos about Taiwan (good or bad) but I will be there to defend my country when some people just want to make sarcastic comments about it. I know you won't but I will.

  • Kai200X, to be completely fair to you, I would like to have friends, with your personal characteristics. They would never leave my side, come hell or high water. I could count on their fierce loyalty and self-sacrificial help, even if a whole gang come to attack me in the street, during the darkness of the night. Yet you stretch this honorable self-defence of your country's dignity, to a somewhat surreal, grotesque extent.

  • You refuse to see any merit, or logic in your opponents debating points and budge at all. You are my 'stonewall Kai'. I tried to reason with you, that it is not the criticism, but the act itself, which trigers the criticism, which need to be eliminated. After that, the criticism will die out too, due to lack of substance.

  • Let me tell you sth wotan20, this is the MAIN difference between the Chinese & the Whites, that's why the Western civilisation is "overwhelmingly superior" to the east, and will STILL be in a foreseeable future.

p.s. i am chinese born in a british colony.

  • I really feel sorry for you that you didn't born a white man. The amount of ass-kissing from you to westerners is just unbelievable.

  • Kai200X, You have some bitterness inside you from some reason. I just spoke in admiration of the Chinese culture and also apologized if I sounded harsh. Please insult me also, that I should've born 'yellow,' because I behave that way. (kissing ass of Chinese).

  • What bitterness? I never say anything bad about you or western culture, this is about ce0u310a's attitude toward his own people.

  • I'm sorry, but you are wrong. Again no matter how cleverly you deny it, what your opinions represents, under the veil of defending Chinese/Taiwanese 'values' is in reality a very intolerant, restrictive point of view, where there is absolutely no room for criticism, or any movement of reform in mentality or in reality. It is outspokenly hostile against those who advocating those opinions, thus representing a backward looking, retrograd view which forbids exchange between cultures,

  • for the betterment of all. Therefore although you don't namely criticize the West, but by your opinions indirectly reject them neverless. The example I gave you, was to awaken you to the deeply insulting way, you treated ce0u310a. What he did, was nothing out of ordinary, like me criticising Western ways or praising other peoples' cultural accomplishments, without neccessarily disparaging my own.

  • I must say in hindsight, that ceOu310a's remarks was right on, that sadly it is impossible to have a rational discussion with you.

  • To me you are the one who can't have a rational discussion. I gave you all the reasons and evidences that, for this particular incident, it don't just happen in Taiwan, it can happen in the US too (sniper152's story). For you to judge Taiwan saying we litter all over the place is like I saying Candians are all crazy because some Canadian shoot up a school. I am against generalization not criticism itself! Don't you get it??

  • In my opinion, we can all learn from each other. The 5000 years old Chinese culture is worthy of admiration worldwide. Yet that doesn't mean, that other cultures wouldn't have something to offer to China to learn from. And that is also true about the Western culture. We can also learn from the example of China, which westerners sometimes fail to do. I'm also aware, that westerners sound many times arrogant and offensive to Chinese.

  • Apparently, 5000 years old Chinese culture is still not good enough for ce0u310a. In his posts he said no Chinese can have a rational conversation (What? are you freaking kidding me?), western culture is way superior and we Chinese are all moving backward, etc. Of course we can all learn from each other, but its not all one sided. It seems to me that ce0u310a here don't think much about his own people and culture. Maybe him been born under a British colony has alot to do with it.

  • I'm sorry if I sounded that way, but boldness is part of my culture. Debate and arguing is part of the Socratesian tradition to find consensus through debates and exchanges.(thesis + antithesis = synthesis) and not necessary the sign of disrespect.

  • We chinese used to have that debating tradition too, at about two thousand yrs ago during the Confusious time....but somehow it seems that we just keep moving backwards

  • Again, I respect your opinion, and I never say anything bad about Western culture or its people. I spent quite some time on message board so I know all about disrespect to other culture so I will never disrespect anybody. However, ce0u310a have no pride or dignity toward his own culture and his own people really bother me.

  • i am just being honest... don't lie to yourself, name one thing which i can be proud of (or not be ashamed of) being chinese.

Population? technology? sports? ideology? Art? Give me one achievement of the chinese which is ORIGINAL & would make us feel proud~ Come on !!!

the only thing i can think of is Hong kong cinema, but apart from that, sorry...

  • I can't help you if you don't have pride and dignity for yourself.

  • Kai200X, I think what you represent and the crux of the difference between you and ce0u310a is that you see the world as a field for 'zero sum game' and he doesn't, but instead, he believes in the common good, that is the so called 'win-win situation'. The zero sum gamer presupposes, that one party's gain is neccessarily the loss of the other. In your mentality, all criticism is for the purpose to insult and for 'put downs' and not for the purpose of promoting betterment.

  • What kind of mentality is that all western is good and all eastern is bad? I too believe in common good and I also believe we all can learn from each other, but for ce0u310a to put down his own culture that is just weird to me.

  • That's why you are so sensitive toward criticism and over-eager to aknowledge and encourage compliments toward Taiwan, because that gain is your gain solely and must be the detriment of the critics. I must say this sort of mentality is a rather backward type and it is self-defeating actually, because it is a serious hindrance to progress, thus will perpetuate your disadvantage.

  • You just don't get it! I am against generalization but not criticism itself! You keep talking about I (or we) cant handle criticism is flat out WRONG! I already told you that I admit we make mistakes and we still need improvemnets, but you feel like keep talking about it.

  • don't be stupid, we're living in a world of "generalization", and your little comments won't change anything.

If you WANT to make a difference, go work hard & make Taiwan a better place, improve your Judiciary system, fight corruption, strengthen the economy, and train your EMTs properly...

i'm sure if you Taiwanese can achieve the things i mentioned above, this videos won't even exist...

  • right back at ya sport. I do realized that no matter how hard I try I can't change that with some people, and if you think we cant be proud of who we are then why don't you do something about it too? instead of crying and whining about it? As for your last statement, no matter where you live in, I am pretty sure you can find something wrong and maybe a video about it, but it still doesn't prove anything.

  • Oops I meant "make" a video about it...

  • Repeat a hundred times "I am proud of being Taiwanese", then you'll be proud of your race.

Repeat a hundred times "We love Chairman Mao !!", then you'll fall in love with Mao.

  • Now you are just being stupid.

  • i apologize, i was just kiding ~

  • kidding i mean

  • well, in my view, without disrespect to any race :

Westerners (including Japanese) = people of Reasons, Chinese = people of sentiments

  • Well... you are from Hong Kong afterall, so I don't really know what's going on over there.

  • well, not much, not as colourful as taiwan recently ~

  • Well I am not talking about recently ~ I mean your experience in general.

  • Hong Kong, the meeting place of Eastern & Western culture.

On one hand, we travel to mainland china to do business, eat & drink with corrupted mainland officials. On the other hand, back home, we have a British-style independent judiciary system, and one of the least corrupted governments in the world.

but the problem is, we don't have democracy.

  • Thank you very much for this, now I get a better understanding about Hong Kong. I've been there once for only 1 day, but I like what I saw.

  • Kai200X, I'm aware of the amazing economical and social development of Taiwan and their people, who by hard work and sacrifice, have nearly eliminated the difference between themselves and the leading Western nations in only about 3 generations, in comparison to those, whose industrialization started more than 2 centuries ago. This fact is nothing less than miraculous. I wish Taiwain to continue this path of peaceful development, and their people, (including a certain Kai) happiness and peace.

  • STFU,, or better go to fuck urself BIATCH

  • You seem to go the other way around: You think, it's better to pester and hunt down the critics. When that succeeds, probably the problem will disappear somehow too. I just hope somewhere, sometime, you'll recognize the folly of your proposition and we can all laugh at it together. Peace be with you Kai, I wish you well. I don't pursue this issue any further.

  • If by critics you mean those who judge Taiwan simply by that video and made stupid statements like "this is a dumpy place" or "this is a shitty culture" without knowing anything then you bet I am gonna pester and hunt them down because they are just trolls. But I don't get it. I already admitted there were mistakes and there are still room for improvements but you made it sound like I am totally disagree with you?

  • LOL Internet tough guy

  • LOL internet clueless guy.

  • well done man~ That's how chinese behaves! You really sums it up ~~ ( i am chinese from Hong Kong )

by the way you shouldn't argue with those Taiwanese (or chinese), you will never have a rational conversation with them ~

  • Are you shooting yourself in the foot?

  • yes, and you must admit that we chinese DO have problems ~ and your attitude is one of those ~

    anyone agrees ?

  • What attitude? if you think ALL Chinese can't have a rational conversation then I don't know what is wrong with you.

  • i forgot to mention that i really enjoyed this vid, although I also thought you sounded really rude at the end... anyways, keep it up!

  • that's m13 rude and unapologetic lol :)

kai you are taking things far too personal, m13 was just pointing out a national problem (in his view) and i know every nation have their own problems but m13 doesn't live in any of them, he lives in taiwan so he's going to bitch about it, nothing personal. he calls it as he see it.

  • Well the thing is being a foreigner in Taiwan you don't have to worry about being caught by the police since they ALWAYS let you go on the basis that you're white. Therefore most foreigners dont have driving licenses and many drink and drive. I lost a friend that way. Some other Irish guy also died when I was in Tainan. A friend of mine did it once, he was stinking of beer, got caught and the cop just let him go. Come on, there is something to investigate. Too much freedom for Waiguorens.

  • anyone saying taiwan is a third-world country is an idiot with no knowledge whatsoever. if taiwan is a third-world country than china is a 5th world-country. fucking hell what the fuck is the matter with you idiots.

  • Lay down this abusive language will you applesauce3! Economic performance statistics indicate, that the income level is approaching first world level in Taiwan, yet many of the customs, such as wide spread corruption and inefficiency in the public services are harking back to undeveloped level. If I were you, instead of bristling with indignity and spreading abuse, I would double up my effort to eliminate the problems in order to improve my country's standing.

  • I don't see you criticized mordeth13 for throwing all the F word around in the video, or do you think he can't get his point across without them?

  • I criticised him at other videos, (not quite so ardently like you did) and even defended the honour of Asian men at another videopage, but you have to find them. Man you are one oversensitive, overdefensive dude. Tell me please, how do you propose to make the Taiwanese aware for potential room for further needed progress, without criticising certain customs and behaviours and stepping on some toes in the process?

  • At first I thought he's criticising Taiwanese people in general but later I realized he's "only" criticising our EMTs (and cops too). The problem I am having is by showing this video he didnt really contributed anything to the solution but rather make people like you generalizing Taiwanese people.

  • OK, my question still stands, how do you propose to make people aware of the problem without some criticism. As a small gesture, I admit he could've made it with less prophanity. Still throwing away used medical gloves is quite despicable (and exactly disrespecting) behaviour to your own country, to say the least.

  • Didn't you read sniper152's story? He lives in America. The was a stabbing in front of his business during the night, when he came to work in the morning he saw blood, medical gloves and other emergency supplies with blood laying all over his parking lot. We are talking about US of A here. If he made a video and rant about it do you think the problem will be solve? it only give people chance to make fun.

  • As for your question... I think if you want to make people aware of the problem in Taiwan then you need to get your story out on newspaper, evening news or bring the attention to congressman/woman...

  • I listened closer to the people speaking Taiwanese next to you. They were saying how unfortunate how such a new "car" (referring to scooter) got into a crash already and some other stuff about how worried they were.

  • Also, you comment on the police makes it seem like you support police brutality. Do you want the police to beat you down after you verbally assault them?!?

Anyways, I understood the Taiwanese in the beginning of the video, when the people were talking about the accident (something about a car crashing, not scooter, but they could be calling cars scooters). Your Mandarin is really hilarious. Not bad, but interesting! =)

  • Taiwan is not a third world country (which has a heavy negative connotation)!!! Taiwan's GDP is over $631 billion a year.

The main reason for the latex gloves is for BSI (Body Substance Isolation) purposes. Gloves are used to protect the EMT themselves and the victim. Although throwing used gloves isn't biologically safe, it's better than having no gloves. The EMT used backboards and the usual safety precautions. They only have a littering problem.

  • been there 8 yrs eh, escaped convict eh

  • I dont understand, he never says anything controversial... calling EMTS who are doing a careless job careless doesnt seem wrong to me.

  • hey man, I live in America. The waas a stabbing in front of my business during the night, in the morning when I arrived at work I saw what looked to be about a quart of blood all over the place, medical gloves and other emergency supplies, ALL BLOODY, laying all over my parking lot. When I called the county to complain they WANTED ME TO PAY FOR THE CLEAN UP! Fucking lazy bastards, clean your own shit up!

  • Great story sniper152, thank you very much for sharing. That goes to show you there are problems everywhere in the world! not just in Taiwan.

  • cool transition mordeth u know alot about america for being canaadian, you ever live in the states?

  • I guess I'm glad I live in the good ole USA where I can get shot any day of the week.

  • Again.. I don't know which part of Taiwan you live in, but in all my years living in Taiwan I hardly encounter any drunk Taiwanese on or off the road. Are you telling everyone here that if they come visit Taiwan they shouldn't go out on a Saturday night because there will be drunk Taiwanese everywhere??

  • Maybe you don't drive in Taiwan but if you head out any time after about 11pm you will find a frightening number of drunk drivers on the road. If you like I would be happy to post video evidence but somehow I doubt you'd like that. (I drive/ride regularly in Taichung City, Taichung County, Nantou, Taipei City, Taipei County - this is not an isolated problem).

  • Oh boy... I am pretty sure there are drunk people on and off the road ALL OVER THE WORLD! what are you trying to prove ? that only Taiwanese get drunk ? so what if you can get video evidence on drunk Taiwanese? I can get video evidence on drunk Canadian but what does that prove??

  • ".. in all my years living in Taiwan I hardly encounter any drunk Taiwanese on or off the road" - but I'm saying that I do. And I don't live all over the world - I live in Taiwan, so I feel a need to voice my distaste for drunk driving in Taiwan. I don't think that's unreasonable.

  • All I am saying is if you go out late at night (even though I don't know why), it doesn't matter if you live in Taiwan or any other country, there will be drunk drivers on the road.

  • Its the asian "I dont give a fuck" attitude...

  • Nice Video...I understand Chinese...Cuz im from Hong Kong....I been to China....and thats fucking the same...You go in a market or plaza....Fucking shit is on the floor....LoLxx...Funny that Im Canadian too...Nice Video

  • Yeah. Make a video about foreigners drunk-driving in Taiwan. And for equity's sake, don't give up the F word when you do.

  • all of your videos are very interesting, keep up the good work

  • yeah! wtf is with the korean store?

Even though you don't mean to be racist, you sound like one. You should just move. Seems like your to close minded to live in other countries.

  • Yes, he sounds like one, but then again he said he loves Taiwan, so I want to trust him that even though he doesn't have a greatest attitude toward things in Taiwan he still love the country and the locals....

  • go to a korean store and buy a fucking chocolate ? what the fuck

  • lol, awesome, it's weird to hear Chinese.. mandarin? right in the middle of english.

  • cops are like that all the time. british cops, irish cops, japanese cops, taiwanese cops and chinese public security officers.

  • I just want to say, FUCK, that was a cool video. 8-) Am I being belligerent? hehehe. 8-)

  • i think that EMTs should have a garbage bag to put that medicaL waste in. But their first priority is to get the injured to a hospital. HOwever, the police should have a clean up team whos job it is to clean up accident scenes and get those junked bikes or cars off the road. Japans got it right apparently. So lets copy Japan (for a change)

  • It is not, "First World has come to denote the "developed" Industrialized-Capitalistic nations that have a higher GDP per capita than $15,000" as stated by the World Bank. With a gdp per capita of around $27,000 Taiwan comfortably fits into the definition of a first world country!!

I dont wanna come on too strong, its just an argument. Keep on making excellent videos. And way to predict all the contreversy that would come from this video!.

  • being rich not necessary makes a country a first world or developed country. being a first world country doesn't mean it certainly has a better civilisation and people are superior to those of a 3rd world country. besides, what's wrong with being a poor country? shouldn't 3 world countries unite together fighting against the commidity capitalist states?

  • I never said that that people from first world countries are superior to those of a third world country! I never even mentioned the third world in my previous paragraph! GDP per capita or "being rich" as you call it, is in fact one of the deciding factors which determine whether a country is first world or not. At least thoroughly read my post before you post a dumb response to it!

  • Once again, Taiwan is NOT a third world counrty, get your facts right before you go around saying stuff. "First World has come to denote the "developed" Industrialized-Capitalistic nations that in have a higher GDP per capita than $15,000" as stated by the World Bank. With a gdp per capita of around $27,000 Taiwana comfortably fits into the definition of a first world country!!

  • you may say taiwan is a developmental state or New Industrious Country or a member of the 4 asian tigers. Definitely taiwan is not a first world country. the path of development in Taiwan has been so different from so called first world country.

  • If you say Taiwan is a 1st world country that just makes it worse. Name one other "1st" world county you've seen medics throw bloody gloves onto the street! There isn't one! If money makes you a 1st world country ,maybe some should be spent bringing you out of the dark ages!

  • Keep up the good work Mordeth! Kai200X - We can see your point, but Mordeth's videos are doing more to encourage people to visit Taiwan than to avoid it. I've learnt that its a fascinating place full of interesting and friendly people (how about everyone he's met at gas stations!) but the traffic is nasty (expect the worst at every turn) and the authoroties are not what we are used to in a western culture. I ride a motorbike in Oz and thats bad enough!

Good one Mordeth, keep em coming!

  • Thank you for seeing my points. Yeah I now know that mordeth's intentions are mostly good, but I am just hoping people not too quick to judge Taiwan base on that video alone. Taiwan's traffic is nasty due to the fact that we are a small country with way too many people ! haha ! but if anyone ever come to Taiwan I am sure they will have a great time!

  • Rock on, Mordeth!

Every country has it's problems and Taiwan is no different. The difference is the problem solving attitude. Like Kai, I am a Taiwanese (and yes, I do live in Taiwan) but unlike Kai, I don't believe that the video makes fun of my country. On the contrary, it really does show the reality of how accidents are dealt with here. I fully support Mordeth's uncensored views on Taiwan in hopes that higher ups will look at them and see that changes are necessary.

  • I totally agreed with you on the uncensored view thingy, but by showing this video on YouTube I don't think you can get any "higher ups" to look at this problem, it will only allow some morons a chance to make jokes.

  • Thanks you to like Taiwan this land only then being able very much to be angry, but this is only the minority irregularity person.

  • wow your bloggs are realy great and intressting, never seen anything like it. This stuff is what i have been looking for

  • ...

  • Is there something wrong with the school education in ur country ? How could u criticize other people by so many foul words ? It seems not a good example to reflect ...

  • stupid

  • It was like that in Malaysia also. Went there to visit my Dad who was working over there. Same thing. My first day there I could not believe the type of stuff that goes on.

  • Much better video than the BURNOUT one. I like the new transistions and effects you are using too. You do say Fuck a lot for an english teacher however.

  • Fuck is a word. Pansy little church boys and girls don't use it. 8-P It's an expression and I find alot of english teachers use it that I know because they know how to properly express them selves. HA! 8-D Fuck is fucking good!

  • My guitar teacher in high school was also an English teacher, and he cursed all the time. That didn't stop him from being one of the best teachers I've known.

  • You'll find that English teachers simply relise that Fuck is just a word like any other and to be offended by a word (unless the word is directed at you) is dumb.

  • i was not offended. I just thought an english teacher should have additional adjectives in his vocabulary.

  • He did ,just none that discribed his feelings as well! By the way ,I wasn't having a go at you ( I realise I said you , but I ment it in a broader sence, no offence ment),this is just something I've talked about with English teachers before, because all the English teachers I know (5) curse like champions. Plus I think they like the affect it has on other teachers.

  • SAVE THE EGGS!!! lol

  • A late model cammaro burned up down the street from me. Beside a divider island for a one way exit. The burnt plastic & what not has been there for about 8 months. The My bank it's happened infront of is really nice much like most banks. No respect for even the better looking areas.

  • I lived in Taiwan all of last year as an exchange student and the EMTs there scared me. Not so much their lack of training but in that they got caught in traffic more than I ever did. It wasn't comforting to know how long it could take them to get somewhere... especially if I was the one hurt. They need a better system for the EMTs.

  • Okay, I am glad you love Taiwan but by showing this video you only give some people a chance to make fun of a country they know nothing about and gave them a false impression that everywhere in Taiwan is like that but in fact it isn't. I am also glad your other videos made others want to visit Taiwan but please show them a good time more often.

  • Did you write up the ad campaign "Taiwan is the Happy Home of Pets" or what?

  • What are you talking about?

  • Unfortunately the lack of trained paramedics IS a problem throughout ALL of Taiwan. You have to bear in mind that in pretty much every other developed country (and I'm including Taiwan as a developed country) emergency medical calls are answered by trained paramedics with similar training to that of a doctor or nurse. It's only the likes of Mordeth speaking up about this that will hopefully eventually make it safer for you, your children and the rest of Taiwan.

  • I never denied that fact that there are problem with our lack of trained paramedics in Taiwan, but I am hoping Mordeth here if he really wants to improve this situation then he would take his video and show it to proper authority in Taiwan so they can do something about it, but not just rant about it and not just given a chance for some people to make generalization or categorization about Taiwan and its citizens on the internet.

  • Have you ever tried talking to the Taiwanese authorities about major social issues such as law enforcement, quality of EMTs, corruption and incompetence in business/foreign affairs bureaux? I have, and got flat-out told I was wrong. Sorry, nope, no problems here, this is just how we do things on Planet Taiwan. Maybe we really do need some progress through humiliation.

  • Yes I tried to talk to some Taiwanese authorities and I know all about their attitude (nope, nothing wrong or we will see what we can do, etc) but I don't think post a video and humiliated ourselves is the answer to the solution.
