  • It doesn't sound weird with my headphones... It gives it an awesome quality of ringing out

  • I firmly believe that Buckethead is a time traveler from distant time where music is always like this. It plays in the streets of the future. So he volunteered himself to be sent back to the troubled age to liberate the earth with his music.

  • lindo

  • The sound you're hearing is the normal sound of a CP-70 piano with it's panning effect. The possible "rotating speaker" someone surmized it might be is a Leslie cabinet, usually used with a Hammond B3 organ. Both were early tools of rock & roll, and still used today. Also, the sound you're hearing is Buckethead, the most beautiful sound I've ever heard.

  • going to see him October 7th... I am SO jazzed!! He is a master, a magician, and so much more.

  • @littleorangemonster u were lucky and privileged to see him live. i'll have to travel to the states if i wanna see him (not that i would mind traveling 2000+ miles to see him live)

  • Really cool if you listen to it with earbuds/headphones

  • combine this with rainy mood for a added atmosphere

  • @Philipfilip Many thanks

  • I really enjoy these melodic instrumentals of Buckethead...I expected most of his solo stuff to be wild and crazy, but this is actually very nice

  • Just for the right information: this song isn't from the album Electric Tears, but from the album Population Override. Also beautiful, if you want to cry on this one it is not a shame.

  • Poetry... Poetry with no words...

  • Buckethead is Masked Jesus

  • i love population overide....it is one of my favorites....it really has a way of speaking to you in ways many people will never understand...thats the beauty of his music although it has no words, it canspeak volumes!

  • i just discovered Buckethead, the man is excellent yes you cannot compare guitarists but in my opinion hes up there with Robin Trower , Jimi Hendrix , and eric Clampton, my buck is off to him, its been a long time since anyones heard a TRUE guitarist

  • @rdfronnie lol clampton

  • Buckethead would probably look at this page thinking 95% of these words are totally useless..

Thumbs down if you see any thumbs up.

  • Im a veteran of the gulf war. Each day im haunted with awful flashbacks of my friends and fellow soldiers dying beside me. I wasin the first division of men to engage Iraqi royal guard in bagdhad. I lost my leg in that battle. I die a little each time i think of it. One day a few months back i discovered buckethead. Each and every song was beatiful. I studied buckethead, and learned many of his hit songs I then found this song. This made me love buckethead. I appreciate every song hes ever made.

  • One of my favourites :3

  • @INTOtheVOID11 I think that you need to grow a pair because you are wasting your life on commenting to ridiculous things that are just simple and stupid so quit being a big baby and deal with what you are seeing.

  • lol it's funny to see so much people amazed by true feelings and emotion expressed through art..

people probably had the same reaction to de vinci's work

  • @BaalsJurisdiction Dude, imagine how AMAZING this is to people who have listened to pop music for years...

  • @1234gnrslash this is like trying to show a painting to a blind man, if the brain is really lazy in what concerns music and just lacks the capabilities to analyse ( without exagerations ) the quality of this music because of they are used to the pop sound and their brains identifies that remixed, retuned sounds, echoes and other different effects used in pop music as the sound that it appreciates the most

if that butchered english makes any sense lol

  • @BaalsJurisdiction Yup. But the few of us who listen to this kind of music often, already know that expressing true feelings and emotion through art is done so much, yet those things seem to be hidden away... I don't know why

  • @1234gnrslash a lot of people do not understand enough about the importance of vibration and variations/modifications, their effects on the brain through analyse (and influence in the appreciation of music)(that concerns adverts/communication/everyday life 2 but in another context)

Anyway, people who get used and appreciate pop music often get closed minds but still appreciate the music that truly makes them feel good u know, retard look like retards 2 you but they are just normal 2 themselves

  • this album is sosureal.its intention is too feel..feel both happiness and perhaps sadness, but more of an understanding of lifes uncertainty.

  • I'm really glad I discovered Buckethead, and I'm not ashemed to say it's thanks to guitar hero 2...

  • @XnamelessDeathX You are calling me a pussy because why? Besides being a butthurt fag for no reason.

  • @Pizza671

(S)he was kidding man, chill. :) We Bucket fans are the mightiest and kindest and friendliest of all.

  • @McGradyBrendan I see, that is interesting

  • Listen to this with headphones.

    Do it.

  • lol the funny thing is this WOULD fit on electric tears...

  • i like that his cd's are a mix of fast songs, and some slow peaceful songs. means i can have the cd in and there is a track for whatever mood im in!

his stuff is like nothing else.

  • this song makes me sad, but i love it, i think any guitarist that can make you feel anything is a very good guitarist.

  • Where can you download this?

  • @colealexander12 you buy it, cmon man support the bucket

  • @colealexander12 Buy it at tdrsmusic(dot)com for 15 bucks.

  • buckethead is the reincarnation of Vivaldi, Mozart and all the classic masters

  • This song made me cry out of nowhere.

  • Buckethead wears his mask because he's hiding that he's an alien or an angel coming to give us the gift of his faraway world of beauty were all the music sounds like this

  • my friend told me that buckethead was the original guitarist for guns n roses

  • @daybreyker

    your friend is an idiot.

  • @daybreyker He was A guitarist for guns n roses. Not the original. The original was Tracii Guns, who left and was replaced by Slash (who is considered to be the original since he was the lead guitarist when their debut album was recorded).

  • EMOTION!!!

  • dang this song is kinda good actually my mind is changing along the way its just getting better

  • everyday i thank the lord i know about buckethead

  • @afriskyfox Every day I thank the Bucket I know him.

  • @afriskyfox Amen my friend :)

  • @afriskyfox makes you pitty the ones who dont xD

  • its manditory to listen to this with a headset! just amazing effects

  • this music = being in a dim-lit room and the feeling of warmth, passion, love.

  • @binnmeister, slash i my favorite guitarist but i dont think he is better than buckethead. it all comes down to what kind of music you like.for example alot of ppl like van halen, i dont realy like his guitar playing but it doesnt mean he is a bad guitar player, it just means that i dont like him. and for me there is no such thing a a bad guitar player.

  • I am crying

  • this one makes my spine tingle

  • sounds kind of jeff beckish. in the beginning

  • IVE BEEN EAR RAPED!

  • that comment was retarded

its not rape if you like it!!!

    greatest musician

  • ive really tried to like this guy. but nope. still havn found anything of his i like. to compare him to slash. its a no brainer. slash is the much better guitarist hands down

  • @binnmeister lol. Keep looking, he's got over 2 dozen albums out.

  • @binnmeister depends on when you look at the quality of guitar playing....to assume someone is better just because you cant find any of the others guys music is ignorant. both men are very talented....and how can you not like this song??? clearly youve never gotten high or drunk....if you do listen to this song, its like an orgasm in your ears...

  • @binnmeister I want to set my hair on fire everytime some cretin compares BH Slash. Stop already!!! Cousin It is a guitar player. Buckedhead is an artist!!!

  • I can´t understand him. But his songs are awesome

  • I really wish people would disable comments on bucketheads videos. That way we dont have to deal with all the pointless arguments about who's more passionate, slash or buckethead. I just want to listen to some of my favorite music in the world, and these arguments really take away from it.

  • £ternal magic buckethead

  • listen to this toasted with headphones with subs in it. OMG.

  • The title of the song is strange to me -- it seems like it should be "Cruel Nature of Reality" instead. Anyone else feel the same way?

  • @SACeee1 I think the title is ok because the cruel reality of nature (planet earth) is that is has been wiped out by the man

  • que flashero...

  • *-*

  • Yes. Sure is

  • yes but he recorded multiple tracks and overlapped them together. he isnt playing this all at once

  • man, i can't get enough of this song

  • it's a llittle sad that this is the only song that i've actually listened to and it make any sense, buckethead is a genius

  • the real test is to try to focous on this and something else at the same time, with headphones

  • It feels like someone took my brain and used it for a metronome.

    I WANNA RIDE AGAIN!!!

  • i feel a little dizzy

  • woow masterpiece

  • What if Buckethead is an Evil Scientist who's secretly programming everyone who listens to his music to think for themselves and question the way the world is.

Maybe our brains need to be washed!

  • when you listen to this with headphones and you dont sit on a chair you fall on the floor

  • hey guys try listening to it with headpfones it sounds real cool llistening that way its like taking one of those ear tests exept its with MUSIC!!! but i relly cant explain it or if i did you would totoly be confused so ty it out for yourself and yull see!

  • i just imagine myself spinning around

  • Headphones=TRIPPPPPYYYY

  • @Destructo47 i knooooooooo

  • this is definately fav album but fav song would def have to be too many humans simply a masterpiece. i highly reccommend listening to it.

  • I think Buckethead is awesome for doing different genres of music. I especially like his jazz-like music and his electronica styles such as Bermuda Triangle and Day of the Robot.

I am really inspired by his masterpieces. His music is pure gold.

  • @1StopMusic so right but every single of his songs are masterpieces

  • Simply great <3 A bucket full of win!

btw the effect used is a wah wah

  • and a rotary effect

  • wrong picture

  • no shit sherlock

  • Population Override is possibly my favourite album

  • lol guys try listening using headphones, it really makes me kinda dizzy lol. very mystic and weird on how he did that music into somethng really special, as in the effects of the song on headphones

  • tell me about it. im on meds and they make me dizzy as it is

  • im a guy who is only into like.... all types of metal and... id hate to be honest i have listened to his songs... its really... cant believe im actually going to say this but... there really good but im just going to have to deal with it because in life you cant just lie because i have found out that lieng tomuch can get you into much more bigger and dangerous problems. so wth? i like these songs.

  • hey its good to like different types of music. some of my influences are cannibal corpse slayer bob dylan acdc the doors. weird combo but the more you listen the more you discover.

  • @Pizza671 Man im completely on the same boat as you, haha.

  • hahaha nice anyways i just purchased his album electric tears day before yesterday and there like... more then just badass x]

  • @Pizza671 you almost sound ashamed lol

  • @Pizza671 pussy.

  • @Pizza671 Grow a pair. You "have to deal with" the fact you like Bucketheads music? What the fuck are you on? Paint thinner?

  • its sweet how even without speakers i can hear it go from left to right over and over, now i wish i had computer headphones

  • makes me feel awesome

  • when im depressed *im not emo* but yeah when im just feeling shitty, these songs just give a big rush of like a happy emotion, its awesome

  • insane how buckethead can hit certain emotions. Makes you really think about things....

  • lol buckethead's shredding is amazing but i think his improvised songs r a better way of viewing his limitless talent. btw this song kicks ass.

  • for other people when they wear the mask and play nothing happens...when buckethead plays the mask molds into his own face and the bucket the mask and the man all become one

  • gota love the PAN effect

  • Bucket Head is truly amazing because he chooses to slow it down, when he could easily just blast it at high speeds and make unbelievably "sick" sounds. He could make this heavier, but he kept it simple and still made it a fantastic song regardless.

Best of all, he keeps his real face hidden, so its the mask thats taking all the fame. People will remember his emotional and amazing songs from a cold dead staring mask with no emotion or movement and think, "That was such an awesome concert".

  • SebMcMed.

I fuckin agree with your coment, man. that's really true.

And bucket dont play for his own fame, he plays for his own music, for his fans, that's awesome, he has such an amazing tallent and people only know a few past pictures of him. That's amazing*

  • @SebMcMeb Thats funny because the reason he wears it is so he doesnt get fame and bothered but hes actually famous as his true identity

  • @Ericclapton325

Like I said a year ago from now, the mask takes all the fame. people will remember his music through the mask and not pay attention to his real face, such as many rappers, rock stars, etc today.

If I ever became a famous music artist I would certainly chose the same path as him and try and diversify my sound, as well as wear a mask and keep my real face hidden. Why? because I don't want to see headlines about my real self all the time. I also couldn't handle the attention.

  • @SebMcMeb Yea at first i thought if i were to become famous i would never hide it because i would make more money but at the same time you would have people all over you so i would like to stay hidden. Im sure he makes good enough money as it is anyway

  • if you close your eyes you dont notice the switching sideof the audio as much xD

  • lol thts cool with headphones

  • Put Head Phones on

The Whole Song ( Most of it )

    it Goes Left and Right

    Like L , R , L , R on The speakers......

  • Yeah, I must agree. This song sounds choppy and out of sync when listening to this on my laptop with shit speakers and a small stereo field. Headphones make it come alive. Long live BH.

  • whoa creepy but awesome! i didn't actually notice till i read your comment. =]

  • I can hear it perfectly on my surround sound system. LMFAO!

  • PAN is the effect name

  • see this is the kind of stuff buckethead haters need toi here. because then they will nolonger post comments such as "slash has so much more feeling than buckethead"

  • to say slash is better is a joke, bucket head poops out so much music its ridiculous im sure all coordinated by himself, buckethead is a musical genious and people should get off it.just like pretty much all his chill songs this one doesnt disapoint, spacey, relaxing and playful solos

  • I think it is because they were both lead guitarists for GNR at one time. Therefore, making the comparison a valid point of discussion.

  • i agree with you on them playing different styles but are you even listening to this song. it's godly. you cant say, no matter how much you like slash, that he could play this.

  • @tehrpx I hate it when people compare the 2. their music is way to different to even think about comparing.

  • @tehrpx Seriously I don't think neither of them are better than each other, cuz they're both awesome guitar players and their styles are different. It's like an apple to an orange

  • @tehrpx Things you said are right but one not.

You CAN NOT compare guitarist: each one has his own music and each one is different, and beautiful. You can't compare the music's magic.

  • @Gus19497 So glad people see this!! well said

  • @Gus19497 yeah but JOE STARIANI and BUCKETHEAD are the most amazing

  • I don't think that there is a musician that can cause that many emotions like BH in his songs... No1 can achieve that...

  • agreed. i was a buckethead hater myself. i had ofcourse only heard him shred his mind of (i like his shredding now btw:P)

  • It's a cruel, cruel world out there.

  • wonderful song!

  • I figured it out, this song is like being raped by Megan Fox, its great. Except in the ears.:D:D

  • Oh, sorry, I voted wrong....but I agree Megan fox in(on?) my ears XD

  • Exactly, this is a beautiful music rape.:D

Jeeze, I dont think any other song has givin me a hands free orgasm.

Buckethead is just amazing at life.

  • son of a bitch!!!! listen to this shit on blast with some ear phones fuck the best no joke lol

  • this song channels a wonderful energy that enters my heart and fills the rest of my body. buckethead will always be a big part of my life.

thank you buckethead for sharing your soul with the rest of us.

  • best blazed music by far

  • This guy makes me mad, slowless-party in the middle of his heart..in mine became a flower..slowless forever ! guy I LOVE YOU

  • dude im baked as fuuuuck. :)/

  • With the headphones, I feel like the sound is raping me in the ears. Coming in through one and out the other again and again. It's a good kind of rape though... if that makes sense :b

It's musical rape. Beautiful musical rape :D

  • Sweet Satan man, that may be the best comment I have ever heard.

  • Haha, thank you my friend :)

This theme is fantasic because the effect are really supreme

  • @Thrashard23 you cant rape the willing

  • @grimreap93 Hahaha, I see what you mean. It was only rape for a little while, cause I wasn't expecting it I guess. But then I started to like it... then it became something totally different :P

  • @Thrashard23 lol its not rape if you yell out "SURPRISE" before you do it lmfao

  • @grimreap93 Hahaha, where have I heard that before? I'm sure a comedian said that at some point, haha n.n

  • @Thrashard23 hey man i was just trying to make a friend no need for sarcasm

  • @grimreap93 Nah man, I'm being serious. I think I heard that before somewhere, haha. It's funny. You can be my friend whenever you want, I'm not a sarcastic asshole n.n ... Unless like, it's required, you know? :P
