X10 mini (E10i) Android 2.1

HEY CAN ANSWER SOMETHING TO ME PLEASE!!!I HAVE INSTALL THE 2.1 ANDROID SOFTWARE AND THE MENU IS EXACTLY THE SAME WITH 1.6 IS SOMETHING WRONG?

@XxxKIMI328xxX i used a program called launcher pro or adw which can make your home screen look like that they are free from the android market place

Do you have any idea when the 2.1 update is going to be released on 3 UK for this phone?

@simz1987 Yeah, someone I know with an Xperia X10 (the bigger version) got their update this week but they are on virgin mobile :S I was told that during the second week of november I should receive my update. But no luck yet :'(

i live in the uk and have an x10 mini on orange. i was able to upgrade the phone to android 2.1 via sony ericsson's pc companion last week. if your phone is locked to the 3 network, then it may be different but i was able to upgrade with an unlocked phone. hope this helps.

@ziohach Basta cliccare sulla carta da parati e dovrebbe chiedere di scegliere sfondi vivo o sfondi per desktop normale, ma sarà necessario scaricare alcuni sfondi per vivere prima come x10 mini non ha installato.

i have upgraded it to 2.1 too, but i still cant put many widget in one screen. do u use a theme?

i think its the same interface as before never really used it due to having an ipod but i know that your can use different applications from the market to suit your preference

i got my x10 mini like a couple of months ago (it's fairly new here in Brazil) and when i am finally starting to get used to it's UI, the upgrade comes out!

Is it much different from the previous default one?

I mean...it looks quite differente!

And, is it all Android interface alike? This look like the UI that i saw on a friend of mine samsung's!

@raphmagaldi the upgrade is really easy to get use to nothing major has changed just the phone seems to respond alot more better than before.

@purplefields i must admit before 2.1 i would have to charge my battery up every day now i would say bout 2-3 days but thats with live wallpaper on constantly and internet connection on so its seems to work fine with live wallpapers

@khaleed08 lol! you may have misunderstood what i meant...i was referring to the FIRMWARE UPDATE of x10 mini pro here in the Philippines and not the phone itself (i wouldn't get that excited if i don't even have or own the phone in the 1st place)...apparently it's not yet available

@xratnamx he's using ADW.Launcher to replace the home screen...you can search for it in the android market, and it's totally free

That battery indicator on the lock screen is by default on 2.1 or did you install any application to get it there?

@PhonerX as far as i know, this is one of the new things to be seen on an x10 mini and x10 mini pro running on android 2.1
