Good video man, I havn't been on the I-15 in almost 2 years, been stuck in england and my bike got jacked a couple of days ago so I officially hate this f*cking country it should burn with texas
can any body tell me the lane disipline regulations in the states please? 4 lanes and people overtake any which way from any lane.... how the f**k do you expect to stay alive if the guy in front can switch lanes in either lane and you want to pass him at the same time!!! glad i ride in france and not in the usa.
yes people can take any lane in 1 way traffic got to be careful about the other drivers that why im mostly driving on the far left lane if there is a big sholder
better to be a sharp tool than not a tool ..... I never have 2 call any other tools remove trees ,to fix anything from my house to personal car diesel truck or whatever ive rebuilt evry kind of engine and TRANSmission and house known to man..... all from age 9 to age 29.... so keep playin x box little tool maybe one day you can be a big sharp tool like me ... probly not though
I took MSF course on a 125cc bike(eliminator) and my first bike was EX500. Believe me it didn't make much difference to me except for the gr8 fun and power. I'm glad that i went for a 500cc.
the 500 has a top speed around 125-130 and it goes 0-60 in just under 4 sec i dont think most lawnmowers do that and thats a wierd highway if the speed limit is 10mph
just to make things clear..the bike being shown is the ninja , not the one taping? and also bikes get great gas milage what would happen if they were drafting a car or truck 20% 60% better gas mileage?
a 250r is a great first bike, its very forgiving and not too powerful for a beginner, but there is a downfall... on a small bike like that you will struggle keeping with traffic on the interstate and chances are you will outgrow the 250 within the first year and then you stuck with it, i would go with either the 500r or if you feel comfortable the 650r. but get one used, because you will, mark my word, drop it several times. just look around.
I totally agree with David, get the 500R, you'll be glad you did. I've had mine for three years now and I'm just now getting to the point where I want to move up to something bigger. And definitely buy used, luckily I only dropped mine once. You just hate to see a late model Gixxer or a bike like that with big drop marks on the plastic, much better to make all your beginner's mistakes on a cheap bike.
I will agree too, I was looking at a low mile used ninja 250, and about bought it, but all of my friends that ride said to get the 500 ninja instead. Im glad i waited, I took in on a trade a week later a kinda rough ex500. It dropped off the ramp unloading it. It fell in grass, so it didnt break anything that wasnt already cracked. It didnt really feel much bigger than the 250 either.
This *is* the 15 Freeway in S.California! I've driven this exact stretch many times to San Diego and will drive it again in 3 weeks for vacation to Legoland with my son.
Love this video but call that traffic? The BQE, FDR, New York City streets when you're trying to get to Jersey when the expressways are packed - now THAT'S traffic! LOL
Great choice of soundtrack, too - "Move B****" is my riding song!
Yes it is America. This is in cali as a matter of fact. I call it a wangan attempt b/c its an attempt at going from one point to another as fast as you can and in a short amount of time. Just like Sprint racing. In Japan I used to compete in Wangans b/4 I got into drifting, so its a kind of joke! LOL!
tell her next time to tuck her feet in. I can't stand sport bike riders doing the duck feet thing.

Would the 500cc from this bike be fast in a small offroad dune buggy? I would like to get a ZX10R engine, but there is none around here.
dgk990 2 years ago
@dgk990 , buy a zx10r. take the motor out. piece the bike and sell it

how much is insurance for this bike? (generally speaking)

Most people are scared to ride past 100mph on a motorcycle. A top speed of 130MPH is great
Add a K&N Air filter and Iridium Plugs for great efficiency. You might get 140MPH.
Just make sure you have ZR(W) tires.{"And on a track"}

the 500 is for corners and race track not strightaways

i know the 250r gets like 60-70 mpg so since this is bigger engine prolly like 50-60 mpg
pbmaniac51 3 years ago 2
Yes the ninja 500s get 50-55ish city and above 60 highway (assuming one is driving at speed limits)
Triple88a 3 years ago
drafting a truck on a bike especially is relaly really really dangerous. don't do it. its not worth it.
iwatchstuffonutube 3 years ago 2
What was your average speed through there? 85mph? I'm thinking about getting that or the 250r, but i want to be able to go on the highway.

let me give you a little friendly advice.
