I was trying some natural oils and I had a horrible reaction too. I didn't even consider being allergic to something natural considering I used all kinds of chemical stuff in the past. I stick to unrefined coconut oil now, its less harsh than the other natural oils like carrot, tea tree, and jojoba. Coconut oil makes hair so soft but not greasy and easy to braid. Good luck styling your cute kids; you're doing a wonderful job!
