Yeah, I loved the color scheme on this one as well. Surprised me too... I figured I'd get a bunch of nerdrage over arbitrary repaints that exist just to be repainted into convention exclusive characters, but instead he's become my favorite seeker.

I imagine we'll get the OTHER two from that cartoon pic as well.

All you need to do is coat the hole in his arm with a layer of clear nail polish and let dry, them try the peg again. Another layer of polish may be needed.

Also, since the holes are the standard 5mm large weapon holes, you may want to consider checking EBAY for a pair of slimmer weapons, just to differentiate him more from the other uses of that mold.

While I agree that Acid Storm is both slick and buxom, part of me worries that his existence precludes a Sunstorm release, for fear on the part of Hasbro of having too many robots with storm-based names. To say nothing of their well-known reluctance to repaint the same mold over and over for the sake of cheaply cashing-in.

Awesome review. I think you should get a free Thundercracker. I agree - I would buy all the repaints of this mold. My main reasoning is because I only own Starscream and REFUSE to pay crazy Ebay prices for a Skywarp or a Thundercracker. Keep up the great reviews.

Sunstorm is supposedly on Hasbro's short list for Seeker repaints.

Since Acidstorm is listed as one of the "Rainmakers" trio of Seekers, that might imply Sunny could be another Rainmaker due to the STORM part of his name.

Also this may imply that the light blue Seeker shown in that cartoon scene could be a potential THIRD Rainseeker, possibly with another STORM themed name.
