I'm seriously thinking of trying this with one of my basenjis. He's such a little ball of energy that he could use the exercise and mental stimulation. I've started him on a gate at home and he'll jump through a hool-a-hoop. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a legitimate agility facility.
@disneylover797 erm can i ask a question im from the uk and i was born in the uk but my parents are from the congo and i have looked it up and i saw that basenjis originate from the congo is true
@MsBetterup I dont know if it will help, but there are a couple ways you can try. have you tried getting like a bike tire and just getting her used to going thru it? Or using the real thing, you can try getting treats and putting her on one side, treat on the other, and then blocking all other paths so its" sit there" or "jump thru & get the treat." Just make sure its fun and rewarding. You can also find a trainer in your area. Where are you from? I will try & help all i can if u still want to
