What makes this trailer so crazy is really three things

1)The sound is stunning. Super realistic and chaotic. It really helps draw you in.

2)The animation is fantastic.

3)The sheer scale of the fight and the city is pretty crazy.

Remember back in 05 impressive FPS's were Halo 2 and Half life 2

I love looking back at this video, we all crapped our pants in 2005, to be honest, theres still a beauty to this trailers chunky animation that makes it kinda realistic, however, it lacks the depth that the actual game had, along with the 3rd, i actually think despite this trailer having a few points over the last 2 games, the outcome of the games actually look much better than this.

@emptycowful First of all if you really want to make BF3 look good you have to play on PC with your graphic settings turned to ultra. Also keep in mind the beta isnt the final game. The game has a lot of DX11 functions turned off so it doesnt look as impressive as the final product will.

@emptycowful as I said... you have only played the beta, right? the beat will not be as good-looking as the final game. the BF games are really totally different from Call of Duty games. I've played every single CoD game from the first one on PC and I've played most BF games espeically BFBC2 and let me tell you the multiplayer gameplay is waaaay different :) But if you dont like BF3 thats cool Im just saying what I think

This KZ2 trailer kills anything seen in realtime graphics including BF3, it rapes BF3 graphics. Secondly, comparing BF3 and Killzone is just plain stupid. Do you have the sheer scale, destructibility and freedom you have in BF3 in Killzone games? No. Killzone is completely linear compared to BF3.

Because in 2005 this trailer blew everybody away but today it doesnt look anything special. So I just mentioned BF3 as an example for a game that today sets new standards.... that was all I said to begin with, then other people started replying saying KZ2 looks better than BF3 which is stupid.

I wish Killzone 3 would have looked like this tech demo. Guerrilla added way to many colors to Killzone 3 because the Halo Soccer moms complained that Killzone 2 was to dark. It's Helghan for god sake! Helghan is supposed to be a dark & harsh planet. If Killzone 4 is still on Helghan, I hope it looks like this. Remember your roots Guerrilla Games. Keep it realistic. Forget the casual haters out there.
