I love diesel guys. they love to think a gas job cant pump a bigger turbo off of a diesel. lol. i own a 2.6l Chrysler conquest tsi turbo witch i did a swap of a HX35. went from a 12a tdo5h. so its a big difference lol. nice car. wish i had the csx. or a shadow. but i got what i got.

Yes, granted, these turbos are OEM on Diesel trucks but: Do you know how much more exhaust flow a gas engine produces compared to a diesel one?... these turbos spool stupid fast on any gas engine above 2.0L... And I wouldn't be surprised if they did too on smaller 1.6 or 1.8's... are you even aware of what VGT stands for? when you find out and understand how they work you'll want one too, trust me :)

this is so rediculous. that turbo comes stock on a 5.9 cummins diesel. a cummins runs a 17:1 compression ratio and doesnt start to spool these things at 1500 rpms and at max sees 30 to 40 psi. u expect that little thing to to spool? ull get maybe 2 psi if your lucky!! i respect what your trying to do but get a smaller turbo like a 45mm

Silly silly diesel guys. Please be sure to check out my other vids, one of them being an 11.9 second pass. To date I have done an 11.6@123 and a top mph of 126 with 27psi. I can get 22psi by 3800RPM.

Very nice, this is how a shadow should be built , money and time permitting, while mine is merely does well for jack-leg engineering on a (non-existent) budget. We do have the same BOV though... :D

I've got a megasquirt ECU too (in a box) though that'll probably end up on my upcoming v8 rx7.

What year stratus cuz im looking for the 2.2/2.5 turbo everywhere to put in my sundance/duster conversion but all i can find are 3.0v6's but i can find a ton of stratus motors ..are they easy to turbo? and what type of things need to be done for this to happen?

Is not from a SRT4, it is from a Stratus!!

They're the same motor, I think some mexican Stratus's had the SRT motor but were ran at lower boost levels for less power.

It goes the other way around, SRTs have the the mexican cloud cars motor (it was also designed here).

I'm from Mexico, we have turbo stratus/cirrus (sebring) since 1995 to 2006, 2.4T is a well known engine down here. I don't remember the numbers of the 1gen... From '01 to '04 were 215HP, 05 and 06 were 225hp, all 2gen years boosting 13psi. About the difference of power between cloud cars and SRTs, it's a tranny issue.
