  • I remember the first time I saw this and it made the hairs on the back of neck stand up. It's simply one of the best scenes in the series.

  • Love, love, love this song by Enya AND Northern Ex!!..My sis got me the series... WOOT!!!!

  • @Myrmish I think it's actually "God's speech Jesse".

  • The part where Holling is saying goodbye to Jesse always tears me up! Such a great ending!

  • I was between around 13-15 when I watched this, I loved it the first TV I ever really became fond of. And this is the single best episode for me, the episode that I still remember and will still make me want to watch NX!

  • Caribbean Blue by Enya

  • What is the name of this song by Enya? thanks

  • Awwww....loved that episode...poor old Jesse

  • this episode almost made me cry.

  • I am probably responsible for the use of Enya's music in this video. I am a (big) fan of both Enya and Northern Exposure. Knowing that they like to use definitive music in the show, in January 1992 I made copies (onto casssette) of Enya's first two CD's, and mailed them to all of the major, and most of the minor, actors in the show. I actually got a call from Peg Phillips, who very much appreciated the tape. In a couple of months, about April as I recall, I was not-so-shocked to hear this.

  • @jimdbell nice! you ever go to any of the moosefests?

  • One of my favorites....a perfect example of the greatest show ever.

  • One of my favourite TV series, and this is my best scene of NX, greetings from Poland to everybody, especially to fans of NX!!!!

  • "Well, that's it then. You were a bear. You were a great big bear. You were wild, and you were free. Godspeed Jesse."

  • one of the most amazing scenes ever! Thanks for sharing :D

  • The Best.

  • One of the best episodes of one of the best TV series ever!

  • @LinnTractorNut Amen.

  • Thanks for posting this. When it first aired, it was the first time I heard my favorite song, "Caribbean Blue."
