Now THAT is a classic!!! She sure has beautiful lines. They did an outstanding job in the restoration of this graceful steamship. I'm glad, because they sure don't built them like that anymore...
@WhyAyeMann "Bussard" served as a buoy-tender from 1905 till the 1970s, therefore the big crane on her foredeck. She was decommissioned and moored at the local maritime museum. Sadly they cut the prop off and welded the sterntube tight. After many years the idea took shape to steam her up again. Parts of the propshaft had to be rebuilt, which was very costly. Boiler and triple-expansion engine are still the original ones.

She is steamed up regularly in summer.
