The President said he will "hold BP's feet to the fire" ... Well, were that to be true, if my calculations are correct, no one at the high corporate level of BP should be able to walk by now.

It seems that the burn-off at the well site would have put a tremendous amount of these toxins into the air that would then be breathed in, brought down with rain onto gardens & farms, gone into reservoirs, etc. If this was the cause of the health issues - it seems that certainly whatever is in the ocean has to be much worse than what is in the air. Either way - anything coming out of the Gulf should not be eaten until there is no doubt whatsoever about any possible adverse health consequences.

This is disturbing but I would really like to see a larger "sample" used in any follow-up studies.. I think this is enough to work with to demand further studies but it's not a sufficent enough sample to qualify as "conclusive". Still I am quite sure that the worst is yet to be realized. When birds are falling and fish are dying within a year of the spill I think it seems logical to assume we "F"ed things up and the dominoes are likely just beginning to tumble.
