  • ühm_ÅñYõñÊ_wÅÑÑã_chÄt_wÍth_me_Í_fÈêl_so_lÕnËlY_töDaÿ╚

  • So I assume you accidentally left the top button open, didn't even notice that your boobs are bouncing out.

  • bla bla bla... she's hot

  • haha someone is jacking off to her in her class at the start

  • Break a Leg; the famous comedian Don Rickles does stuff like that: Roy Rogers would show up, and he would state "Hope your ranch blows up." As an action, cowboy movie star the Roy Rogers really would use explosives to make a movie, it is a blessing he gets a movie. When the famous governor Ronald Reagan was being roasted, Don Rickles told him "We are tired of you." Reagan was leaving the governor office for other things, at the next election. How you say it, sounds harsh, but blessed.

  • did she wear a bra??? or not?

  • When people post vulgarity they are only showing how little respect they have for themselves. Just because you think you are anonymous doesn't stop the rest of us from thinking that whoever you are --- you are a pathetic asshole.

  • Break a leg I'll rather open yours

  • When are you going to do a lesson on the form of your lovely chest?? P.s Can I do you for homework??

  • why is your face always so orange looking?

  • @boru1982 Because, she uses makeup, bronzer, or powder.

  • ...does she really have a sister?:O cause the scene where she lives did not seem cut...so...

  • the expression "break a leg" actually comes from how it is bad luck to wish someone good luck in theatre. so if you wish them bad luck, such as breaking a leg, then it is good luck.

  • what a fat fuck and a failed question

  • verry nice boobs

  • Dat was GUED lessen!!!!

  • Have to tell you Marina, I like your videos so much I've been going through the older ones here on YouTube. Keep up the good work and don't let the haters drag you down to their base level.

  • i'm with u

  • i really like hearing you speaking german

  • how good are her lessons when you don't watch the film but just listen? Sometimes I really can't understand what she's saying.

  • Very cool!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I thought it was just an order a mob boss gave to his crew when a guy owed money or was just busting to many balls...which would result in getting their leg broken.

  • I thought it was a showbiz expression for good luck

  • it is she said where the expression came from.

  • Right, whatever she says goes. She is gorgeous.

  • i did not, lol

  • just turn the sounf off and watch her boobs :)

  • The gap in between is too huge it's like staring into an abyss. Return from whence you came!

  • teachers are not supposed to have tits that BIG!

  • wait, i'm lost does she have a sister or not?

  • acting for free is like a bee`````````````

  • You are late for you shift at Primark love!

  • she never did any - or at least no one can find one - because she didn't need to.

  • She is hot

  • doppleganger ;)

  • you actually a twin? find out where the whole evil twin comes from. im a twin and it bugs me.

  • Miss Schwarzenegger

    ROFL

  • dowesnt have to do with play Mcbeth or someting?

i always thought it had to do with it being bad luck to say good luck, so they would say break a leg

  • The thing with Shakespeare's Macbeth is something a bit different--it's a superstition by members of the cast that if one mentions the play's title during the rehearsal or production, something bad will happen to them. Apparently, plenty of actors who mentioned the title during performance have gotten hurt or killed via strange accidents.

It's kind of similar to the whole superstition with blue flowers too, how wearing it will bring you bad luck during performance.

  • You stage actor would tend be superstitious, the same way athletes and sports fans are superstitious, because luck plays a role. In the case of Macbeth, there was a certain belief that the play itself was unlucky and to perform it was courting disaster, and not mentioning the name of the play became a way of attempting to ward that off.

  • excuse me hot for words, i hate to disagree but I am a theater person myself and my own experience shows that it is bad luck to wish an actor good luck

  • excuse me hot for words, i hate to disagree but I am a theater person myself and my own experience shows that it is bad luck to wish an actor good luck

  • The first theory makes more sense.

  • WOW your too funny and I really enjoy your humor

  • I like the ending haha.

  • Shit the second outfit is absolutely the sexiestthing i think you've worn :O

  • I doubt those are correct. See, ancient Greeks for example believed that gods are jealous bastards, so idea is NOT to wish luck or it will not fulfil.

Russians use to wish fishermen NOT to catch anything, t could be same logic there.

  • i think it was the first answer that was right.

  • You looked especially pretty in this video. I think it's because your make up is lighter and more of a natural color.

  • I've read the other comments and those people need to look for a Girlfriend or something.

    Why am I watching this?

    I have no Life :P

    good luck with your students.

    Greetz Fimmer

  • I thought break a leg had a different meaning than those two. In the theater, they wanted to confuse evil spirits so they said the opposite of good luck. I'm confused!!

  • i thought so too i thought in theater it was bad luck to wish good luck ?

  • your fucking hot! i like you!

  • Hmm... a Hebrew expression that moved into German and found it's way into American English. If only there was a language that tied all of these together. Oh, if only there were such a language.... :)

    oy, vey.

  • yiu know it is yiddish...dont fool vit me my friend.

  • Is she in playboy

  • Your soooo hot, your the prettiest smart gilr I have ever seen

  • Is she German?

  • Lol Pretty sure she says she's Russian several times

  • does this accent sound german

  • Break a leg means to get the audience clapping and stomping so hard sombody breaks a leg.

  • i would rather like to see u dance in ur panties

  • i thought break a leg came from well far back before you even had curtains on stages. back in the days of shakesphere when actors were very superstitious that they believed that wishing good luck was bad so they wished bad luck instead. hence "break a leg" and noone was aloud to say"macbeth" instead you called it "the scotish play"

  • LOL

i think you should be my private tutor.

  • white suits you!

  • para los actores teatrales desearles buena suerte es malo, por eso se los desea mala suerte diciendo: "rompete una pierna", para que les valla bien.

    ;P

  • OMG YOU ARE SO HOT, I LOVE YOU

  • Germans came to america 1930? hahah

  • It was Jews (i.e. "refugees" from Germany). Marina was afraid to say Jews.

  • very nice how much?

  • Hals und Beinbruch^^

  • No offense but my moral says I should always look at a women in the eyes when she speaks, but you make it harrrdddd ;]

  • Awesome outfit, I had trouble paying attention to what you are saying - no inplants needed!

  • My fellow drama students and I used to say "Break a leg!" to each other in high school. You mean that expression DOESN'T come from the theatre?

  • break a leg didnt come from eather of those...a long time ago actors thought it was bad luck to wish someone good luck before going on stage...but if you wish someone bad luck before going on stage it brings good luck...so they say brake a leg.

  • where did you do your boobs they look hyper sexy

  • 1 word ... plastic

  • so pretty thou

  • you are simply beautiful

  • I don't remember where I got the notion, but I've always understood "break a leg" to be what an understudy says to the lead actor before the latter goes on, since such an event would give the understudy a shot on stage.

  • This is one of ur better ones, with the outfit change

  • you looked very pretty at the part where you said I have 35,500 subscribers right now. Make that 35,501

  • so beautiful

  • I love my teacher.

I want to give her an A+.

  • I got an A+.

    Thanks!!

You have an evil twin sister?

  • In the theaters of the mid to late 19th century, the folks that were pulling in draps and drops on the rail were sailors that were on shore leave. So the tradition of it bad to whistle the deck of a ship, translated into no whistling while on stage.

  • I heard you could easily be a language professor in america. you must be one of the most intelligent americans, knowing all those hard words and all that latin too! niiice

  • I heard it was break a "legend" ,that was abreviated to "break a leg".\

  • **barks like a trained seal for clicking when instructed to on the rating star**

good with words but not numbers are we? lol. regardless, you have a new student. :D

Can you find the origin of "bull's eye"? thanks.

  • HOTFORWORDS you look the most beautiful ive ever seen you look in this video. plus i love your facial expressions just before your evil twin comes in!

    Discombobulate

  • Hmm, I had always heard that the origin of "break a leg" was just that for some reason, in the theatre, it's considered bad luck to actually say the phrase "good luck", so saying a negative phrase like "break a leg" actually has the opposite effect, bringing good luck.

Seems there's a few different theories as to where this phrase came from.

  • SteveJ2008, you are correct actors are superstitious. The actual "break a leg" part instead of say "have bad luck" or "I hope you fall down and break your nose" came from what I said in the video.

  • and now, girls on trampolines.

  • i have a request for a word, what does the word "ortho" mean, like from the word orthodontist or orthdox

  • AFAIK it's just a prefix meaning "straight", "right" or "correct".

    As in:

    Orthodontics- straightening teeth etc.

Orthodox- conventional or "correct" way of doing things etc.

  • Very interesting, thanks.

    I always wondered what

    that phrase meant.

  • she is beautiful. Only if she had some more clothes.

  • you win

  • so hot

  • Hey, I've got a request! Why is the word 'example' abbreviated to 'e.g' even though there's no 'g' in it?? Thanx!

  • O.O i think im blind or somethin, there are no 50 cents coins (i think), sorry bout that, but at least theres a mexican peso (or it lookes like one). ^_^! i thought there were cus the mexican 50 cents coins are kinda golden, and two of those coins u put there actually look like them, but i guess not. BTW U ROCK!!!

  • Hello, it is good that u put a mexican peso and 50 cent coins when u say "hotforwords decided to investigate..." at the end of that little introduction.

  • Another really great video.

    You're getting funnier i think lol :]

  • As I have said once already on this video, I would 'love' to know the origin of the word "LOVE". I think the actual origin could possibly be something even more.

  • word request...abseiling

  • who is oscar in relation to the oscar awards?

  • I never knew that. Interesting origin of the phrase. Thanks.

  • i love you, i like your sis and i like how you spell Hals und Beinbruch & I LIKE YOUR BOOBIES

  • omg ure twins so hott!

  • haha I saw this title and thought of "evil twins".

  • Where did Marina#1 run off to?

    Ollie Ollie Oxen Free!!!

  • I saw your response to my comment, I'm working on it.

  • I still say you should look into the word "shiv" a knife made in prison, out of something that wouldn't ordinarily be a knife. One "shanks" with one's "shiv".

I like contemporary words, and I know this one goes back to the fifties, 'cause I just read it in a book written in the fifties. I wanna know how old it really is and where it comes from.

  • You recently did some videos for St. Valentines Day, which were great and all of that, but, Not once has anyone ever actually described the word 'LOVE'. When I was a child I had asked many adults what does Love mean? And I always got the same answer, "it's when you find someone you want to spend the rest of your life with". I honestly would 'love' to know the meaning and origin of the word "LOVE". Thank you, Ciao

  • that's such a lame and pretentious request.

It's not its sentimentality but the total rhetoric behind it.

  • LOVE is just a 4 letter word.

  • I love your videos. If you ever need help with a French word, I have a number of dictionaries. I have a M.A. in French Literature, and speak the language fluently. A lot of viewers talk about how "hot" you are. As for myself, I just love your personality and your mission. Etymology has always been an interesting subject to me.

  • So smart! I'm in love!

  • Hello ,one of your subscribers

  • Great going, Marina. Thanks for investigating and sharing with us. Break A Leg, HotForWords :)

  • Evil twin, eh?

  • very nice, but do you really need to do the 30 seconds of rate, sign up and subscribe every time?

  • As a friend of mine once said I beg to differ:

Dr Freud would have somewhat of a different view,

And you know what leg he would be talking about?

Something like the phase: "don't bust a nut", meaning don't work to hard you slacker.

  • With your blonde hair and that white jacket you look like an angel.

  • so... hot... oh my gawd :D

  • Your videos are getting better and better. Awesome production! could you settle a bet on the origin of the word "sideburns"?
