I like the 749 nice bike, looks much nicer than the 848 even though it doesnt go as well as it, it still beats every bike out there on looks though, as long as it has the termi exhaust and the nice red paint ;)

agreed, a more modern bike is going to go better, thats a given, specially with 100cc more.

the 848 just doesnt have the looks for me, give me a 999R anyday of the week.

"749" The biggest sales mistake from Ducati.

Time for a change!! go for 848 or 1098.

Ive had 4 bikes since the Ducati and its still my favorite, the public didnt like the looks of the 749 it was ahead of its time.

I still think its unique and in some ways better than the current crop of Ducatis, far too Japanesse for my likes

Currently got a RSVR Factory.

If you like your 749s ...I respect your opinion. I am talking about Ducati numbers of sales only.

Maybe the reason is because Italians don't like French people.
