u are wrong about the left hand right hand thing...... left hand on the bottom for men right hand on the bottom for women.... i know this because i used to do right hand on the bottom during meditation and got corrected by a monk...
@waysofbushido Well, I guess it depends on who you talk to. I was first told this is the case by Inoue Yoshihiko-sensei who is Hanshi 8th-Dan in Kendo, and has been practising and writing about Zen (and its relationship to kendo) for many decades. I also verified this particular point with the priest at the Jishoin, and at another temple in Kyoto. In any case, this is how it is done in Kendo.
@waysofbushido Its never a good idea to start a phrase by "u are wrong", but anyway. The hand position really depends on who you talk to. Generally, is Soto Zen (because mokuso comes from Zen Buddhism - zazen), the left hand is resting on the right hand, but its not always so. Some Masters stick to it, some Masters say it dosen't matter. Same thing goes with the lotus position in the case of zazen.
I'm currently training in Japan and I only see the variation right hand in the left hand. Also, I'm training at a dojo which is on a temple ground where the mokuso is like a prayer, pressing your flat hands against each other in front of your chest. I was quiet surprised about that.
One advice: You guys should work with an external mic. This you get perfect audio quality. I personally use a small sony which records mp3 files. Those can then be merged with the video footage.

its a "little" quiet.
Not "too" quiet.
If you plan to post more videos you might want to ask around about a wireless mic.
