  • awesome music, I like how it goes through all the logos through time.

  • All I got was Doctor Who oral

  • wow that is so beast, subbed!

  • HOLY KRYNOIDS LOVE THIS SO MUCH CAN I USE IT I WILL GIVE CREDIT!

  • I like this, but I think your "Lonely God" is WAY better... Dunno, something about it stirs me.

  • This is epic!! :D

  • would it be ok with you if I used this in my doctor who fan film? I'll credit you of course. :)

  • @RaidersUnlimited Do you make films for a living?

  • @purplehyppofilms Yes and no, it started out as a hobby. But now I'm trying to make my way in the world of media. The one I'm working on now is just something I want to do for fun. A Doctor Who fan film what could be funner

  • @RaidersUnlimited That does sound pretty epic! I'm more or less the same as you, I'm only 14 but I make films, just for fun. I'm currently working on a feature film called KLOWN. Good luck with your Doctor Who film!

  • @purplehyppofilms Hey I started when I was 15 so you got a head start on me. XD Tell me more about KLOWN, Ive tryed to do feature films in past but was never able to finish them.

  • @RaidersUnlimited hehe, well it's a horror/comedy film i've been writing for over a year. I've just finished the script and have had the auditions. It's gonna be filmed mostly in my school and we'll start filming in January. The long and short of it is: A man in the 1890's catches smallpox but it doesn't kill him, just mutates him for life. He tries to find a cure, fails and becomes enraged by this, so makes himself a mask and calls himself Klown.

  • @RaidersUnlimited Then, he kills over 300 people in the following 10 years but is hunted down and shot in 1912. The site he was killed on is converted into a school in the 50's and there is a legend/myth that 100 years after he was murdered, he will come back to get his revenge. (1912-2012, next year). People start going missing (in 2012) and then 2 students from the school go missing and their friends investigate. Unfortunatley, they get trapped in the school with the undead Klown.

  • This is HQ????

  • Whatever it was made on, it is a bit cool! Way to go!

  • It's all done by synthesizer, therefore, NOT AN ORCHESTRA!!!

  • @ravenfae420 Many orchestral scores you hear, especially in video games, are in fact synthesized. For example Jeremy Soule, the composer of the Elder Scrolls series, Star Wars KOTOR, and many other VG soundtracks produces all his music digitally. None of it was played with a real orchestra, but it's still orchestral. It's about the genre, not the production.

Whilst this track has several synth elements it is primarily an orchestral symphonic piece.

  • @OminousVoice I cant believe are really nitpicking over this. Jesus this person takes the time to make this and these things are hard and all you can do is complain over the title.

  • @legomailman Sorry by when I say when you complain I don't mean you Ominous as the comment is a reply to yours.

  • @ravenfae420 Who cares if its a synthesizer! It sounds awesome!!

  • They def. should use this epic track instead of the original one.

  • It sounds orchestral AND epic to me!

  • I want this for my Ipod, where can I download it at?!?!?

  • amazing!

  • There's never been a theatrical release of Doctor Who has there? If not, after he goes into his 13th incarnation, they should play this in the movie, probably during the final battle with The Master. Can't imagine how epic that'd be.

  • @Yabuturtle

There was one called 'Doctor Who and The Daleks'. Peter Cushing played The Doctor in that.

  • and this is why britain kicks ass. james bond, sherlock holmes, robin hood, the doctor, harry hill, sarah jane smith....

  • Hi! Can I possibly use this for a fan Doctor Who series?

I find this quite gothic and gothic is what I want!

    I'll obviously give you credit!

  • I don't care if this is a pickle and muenster cheese sandwich.

This is a really cool remix of the Doctor Who theme. They should really use this if he ever has a movie.

  • When it says "Doctor Who Orchestral," especially with that logo, I think that people would be expecting the theme from the TV movie. That theme seems to be refered to as the "orcestral" theme most of the time.

  • I like it!

  • Ignore the pedantics lol, this is brilliant! :)

  • Depp should be the Master...and Larry King as Davros!

  • Not Bond anymore anyway..he's dead. Bastard begged for it.

  • 421 companions and 11 doctors loved this. Meanwhile... 100 Cybermen and 21 Daleks hated this...

  • 119 dislikes from the enemies, and 427 from the companions

  • The Master disliked this too.

  • Do you have a download link for this or any of your other pieces?

  • If you dislike this then the master wins

  • Tim Burton should definitely consider using this for the opening to his Doctor Who movie.

  • @dlausactor6373 No, Tim Burton should definitely consider never making a Doctor Who movie. Ever.

  • @mrgeetah Why? He seems like a fan. I doubt he'll mess it up that bad, if he messes it up at all.

  • @dlausactor6373

Because he will mess it up, he'll make it too Burton-y, and he'll probably cast Johnny Depp as the Doctor. I have no problem with Johnny Depp, but he shouldn't be playing the Doctor.

  • @mrgeetah As long as the Daleks aren't CG, I'm fine with it. He can use CG all he wants; hell, he can make the Cybermen CG. But CG Daleks? No. Just no.

  • @dlausactor6373 You know he's going to make everything CGI if he does a movie. That's how Modern Tim Burton works. Claymation and CGI, that' s it.

  • @mrgeetah If nothing else, I would be very interested to hear Danny Elfman's interpretation of the theme.

  • @mrgeetah Who said he was lol.....stop believing the rumours

  • @badbav33

I never said he was, I said he shouldn't. I never believed that he actually was going to do a movie, and never said that I did. I was just saying why he shouldn't.

  • 59 Cybermen and 59 Daleks disliked this.

  • can i download this?

  • 116 Dalek's hit the dislike button!

  • @Se7enBeatleofDoom lets annihalte them then!

  • I say! I believe i have found an extremely pure sample of win on Youtube! Congrats to you, OminousVoice!

  • Sounds like it could be an episode or mini move theme. Pretty cool.

  • I don't understand how anyone could hate this music. it just cleanses the soul and help me concentrate in tests somehow

  • That was brilliant. Great job, sir. I am seriously becoming a fan of your work. I appreciate all the work you put into these.

  • what the? nitpicking what thats so wird what does it even mean! bad soundrack this sucks worst theme ever its not funruel docter who!

  • FALSE ADVERTISING FALSE ADVERTISING FALSE ADVERTISING! if you were sellin this you'd be sued

  • @brtlblayk

But he's not selling this. He's not claiming he owns Doctor Who either. So shut up and go fuck yourself.

  • @3DPlanets it's still false advertising and he's a bad sport for falsifying anything. you're a bad sport for being so grumpy and angry and vile. nobody will love you now.

  • they should use this if the doctor ever fights the eternals or if they ever do a miniseries on the time war. by the way that is how the master got past the regeneration threshhold they gave him thirteen new regenerations to fight on the frontlines in the last great time war

  • dude this is epic ty 4 puttin this up

  • a wonderful take on the most classic theme of all time, best bits from everywhere bravio!

  • Who cares if the title is wrong? I'm a diehard Dr Who fan and this theme is AWSOME!

  • everyones allowed to be a ig fan of doctor who!

  • *british David Tennant accent* This is brilliant. You humans are AMAZING!

  • can u send this for me?

  • Absaloutly amaizing, orchestral or not it is a great piece of music. thanks for uploading

  • i dnt like it!

  • AWESOME!

  • makes me feel like the universe is going to end.

  • At the start, the build up. It's identical to the new series.

Murray Gold was clearly looking for inspiration.

  • Sooooooh Beautiful, I seriously have tears running down my face 'bouts now.

  • Doctor Who is my FAVORITE SHOW!!!!

  • i did not think it was possible to use traditional instruments to mimic a synthesizer.

  • humm? I wonder what would happen if they did a mix of evry Doctor Who theme there ever been?

  • doctor who rocks!!!!

  • well, may I use this or not?

  • may I please use this as the theme to my epic feeling doctor who christmas special please?????

  • Nice 'Orchestral version"......not as if you added a bad choir to it and stamped it as orchestral........

  • Well done. This is brillant. It really is.You've done you'r self proud.

  • it sounds epic, but it's definitely not orchestral.

  • @JFSOCC It is orchestral, just not symphonic.

  • @OminousVoice that's fair enough

  • @OminousVoice you have freaking synth and choir sounds in there. that's not orchestral.... sorry

  • @suddenoccurence Synth and choir are not orchestral, but brass and strings are. I never claimed the track was *entirely* orchestral.

  • @suddenoccurence doctor who theme without the radiophonic main melody? sacrilege!

  • @OminousVoice The orchestra sounds sampled.

  • @JFSOCC Who cares?

  • @RoryVideos He does?

  • @JFSOCC It certainly is orchestral, go look up the definition.

  • @sutasman orchestral implies there is an orchestra, which there isn't

  • @JFSOCC: then why did you agree with the uploaders' comments that it was orchestral? I think we could agree on a definition of orchestral as being something that an orchestra can play. While an orchestra isn't playing the music in the vid, it certainly could. Also, if this isn't orchestral, then what it is? Symphonic? Its both, and you could probably fit it in with more genres if you tried.

  • I'm ready for adventure

  • This is absolutely brilliant, can you send my acopy of the file, i want to listen to it on my ipod. Thanks

  • Hey, us Aussies are allowed to be big fans of Dr Who too!!!!!

  • APRIL 17th!!!

  • MP3? I plan on making some Doctor Who music videos. There's this person I know who would probably like Doctor Who so I plan on making music videos of some of the serials.

  • i can imagine this in a movie special with david tennant

  • Doctor Who is so EPIC!

  • That is most awesome.

  • Very good! I would love to download it if you could give me the download link.

  • Nice theme... using the samples provided by Danny and Ian Stewart and Peter O Rouke?

  • @macfadyan In this track? No, These are from the Radiophonatron.

  • @OminousVoice ah, that joyous creation.... Ya gotta love it!

  • @OminousVoice

How did you download the radio phonotron?

  • @DoctorWhoCenter2010 I didn't, I simply recorded the samples as I played them.

  • @OminousVoice

Could you send them to me?, I'll give you credit.

  • I'm not English, though... the series is great and the theme just makes it epic. For me it all started with the 9th Doctor, but ever since then I've been true - which clearly has a lot to do with the fact that I'm a chick 'cause we all instantly fell in love with the 10th Doctor - or to be honest with David Tennant himself :-)

thx very much for uploading this, now maybe I can use it as background music on my page!

  • this is great

  • SUB FOR TEH DOCTAHHHHH!!!!

  • Brilliantly done! And you've every right to be proud - the Doctor is a great heroic character in the British tradition; Robin Hood, the Scarlet Pimpernel, Sherlock Holmes, James Bond.

  • isn't Robin Hood based on French stuff? or am i thinking wrong?

  • Tarzan, and I begrudgingly suppose in the cultural minds of ppl outside Britain Harry Potter as well

  • ...Sounds like something out of Metroid in places.

  • I like this. Sounds darker, a bit more sinister but very fitting. Nice work.

  • I like this score. A bit brooding but that's okay. Epic is right.

  • sound like a very epic score!

  • very nice... good job

  • This version has a slightly darker feel to it, wouldnt you say so? A bit...Scarier =O

  • I sincerely hope the Series 5 music intro will be very similar in style to this video.

  • There are parts of this I really like, like the vocal stuff, and there are parts I don't...like incorrect notes in the very same vocal parts. It's not a suspension if all 3 notes of the triad are wrong :(

  • True - nowhere does it say the 12-regenerations limit is biological. It must have been imposed by the Time Lords.

Think about it. If everyone could regenerate forever, they would be driven insane. Living forever sounds good on paper, but after 3 thousand years of watching your friends die, you'd go mad. Let alone until the end of the universe...

So they would have imposed a limit - 12 regens, 13 lives. When your 13th incarnation dies, you don't regenerate.

    Like a law.

    With them gone..

  • yeah but there is always a loophole.the master is on at least his 20 th regeneration so there is a way for a time lord to live forever.and its not biological, its the law that you're not allowed to live forever and you have to stop before 12 to 13 regenerations.

  • in the Paul Mcgann movie it was said in the opening sequence that the master had used all his lives and so the timelords had executed him. I think you may be right about the limit being something only the timelords impose and with gallifrey gone the doctor could live forever

  • @SnoocheeBoochees

It said that the Master was executed by the Daleks after being put on trial. He died permanently because he had used all his lives (so the Doctor carries his remains back to Gallifrey)

  • yeah, and then the master said that they'd (the timelords) had brought him back to life because he made the perfect soldier/warrior for their time war.

  • The information comes from The Deadly Assassin.

  • Oddly I cannot find any actual natural limit to his regenerations. All the references that I know of said it was a limit imposed by the Time Lords, an artificial cap perhaps. With the Time Lords MIA there might not be a limit.

  • @EVERYBODY!!! Um, hello? Idiots. A DECADE means TEN YEARS!!!!!!!!! Why the HELL would that take away from any ONE regeneration!?!?!

  • Um, hello? Only ONE person is saying that. The rest of us are trying to tell him its not true.

  • WANT ON MP3!

  • Well, when they headed down on the Parallell World - Series 2) The TARDIS crystal has "died" `and he has to give a decade of his life. Well on the matter of fact, on the "Curse of Fatal Death" we know the Doctor has 13 lives due to the last regenration is a woman, so he has 13 took away a decade, which gets 12 incarnations only, Maybe the writers will use some kind of Ressurection Machine to longer his life, like an immorality oblject.

  • Hold on.

He has 13 incarnations and 12 regenerations. Two different things.

Giving away ten years of his Tenth Life (which can last for over 1000 years if he's careful) does not change the amount of incarnations he has.

  • Does anyone here not notice that the 10th Doctor comprises 2 incarnations?

He died once, and regenerated, but chose not to change his appearance. I think it was end of the 4th season.

  • He didn't regenerate, he used some of the energy to heal himself and siphoned the rest into his hand. He didn't change, only healed, so it's not really a regeneration.

  • No he only has 11 incarnationas and 10 regenerations at the moment doesn't he?

  • @Timelord114 A regeneration as proved by the first doctor can last for 100s of years.

And curse of the fatal death is a parody and not part of the cannon main series we knew about the 13 lives thing way before that.

  • immortality not immoraliy, and the writer probally will do it as it gets loads of ratings

  • This show will rull the COSMOS BABY!! This show will goes on forever!

  • I totally agree. This should be played at the Doctor's "Final battle". It would make it so much more theatrical

  • That should be the very last Doctor's music, cause the Doctor has only 13 lives right, when he gave up a decade of his life, it means he has 12.

  • I don't get that.

Why would giving up ten years of his life take away one of his regenerations?

He has 13 lives, always will, but the writers will probably find a way to give him more (the show's so successful, they won't want to end it forever)

  • Yeah, and each regeneration has the potential to last about 1000 years, though of course the Doctor burns through his a lot faster.

  • i like this - theres a certain weighty presence to this piece that made me feel small and in awe

  • Possibly suit Matt Smith's intro.

  • SPOILERS?!?

  • Kind of reminds me of somthing you'd hear in the Metroid games.

  • @RabidEasterBunny yea, totally. the chorus sounds especially Metroid-y

  • Why didn't you show the Ninth Doctor's logo? The reflective one? Why? That was the best logo!

  • A lot of people didn't notice the logo change between Series 2 and Series 3. That's probably why.

  • @mowingthefrontlawn yeah the season 1 logo was silver

  • @mowingthefrontlawn it only changed slightly

  • as far as i know 9 and 10 have the same logo an it's up there. do u have a link to what you're talking aobut?

  • @greatsayain You could just check out a Series 1 or 2 episode and compare it to a Series 3 - 4.5 episode. The logos used are slightly different. I'll PM you a link.

  • If they ever do that movie they're rumored to do this should be the theme.

  • Delia was duped!

  • Comment removed

  • you know the eighth doctor did he do a series?

  • the eighth was only in a movie as far as I know

  • also in audio stories....full cast ones they are awesome!

  • no series but he did get quite a few books and radio only shows

  • only in audio and in comics and novellas

  • The Eight Doctor was only in the 1996 television movie. Richard Griffiths was going to be the Eighth Doctor, but the series was cancelled before he could get involved.

  • Nope, just the movie. Although there are books/audio books.

  • This is the first time I have heard this all the way though, " AWESOME"

  • this is pure epicness. Awesome.

  • it's better than the hip hop version or the bloody trance version XD

  • Excellent Version of the theme song

  • liking this ;)

  • ah those brits...always creating the best... LOVE DOCTOR WHO
