Tue Motor in my a was built in 1984 it put out 436whp back then and had 195psi across the board in 2008 it put out 429 and had 193psi across the board now in those 24 years it has seen more road and drag racing then I ever care to see .

I think that he only has less than $7k into the car. Going 10.4 for under $8k is pretty impressive. Ask any racer who's been racing for more than 5 yrs if thats impressive.
What did you do to ake your tuner go all the way? I have the same setup, just Endyn Pistons and OE cam. He wouldn't budge and wouldn't let me go over 20psi. The extra 8psi would put me in the 400's for sure. /

Only mods are eagle rods, vitara pistons,zex 59300 cam, ARP headstuds, and skunk2 intake manifold. Stock Y8 head/valvetrain. Dirt cheap motor. It'll be running again next year but in a different chassis with some changes.

Traps were 133mph on stock tranny w/8K revlimit at 2300lbs. We have a tight ratio trans in it now. Only got 1 pass on it accidentally slamming into the rev limiter @9K rpm in every single gear and it still went 133mph. It will do 10.6 @ 135-136mph on a clean pass for sure. Last time out it had a bad turbo on it missing 4psi of boost and misfiring terribly the whole run, still went 10.9 @ only 124mph!

Tue Motor in my a was built in 1984 it put out 436whp back then and had 195psi across the board in 2008 it put out 429 and had 193psi across the board now in those 24 years it has seen more road and drag racing then I ever care to see .

nice ride, but what will a cop do when he pulls you over and sees the boost gauge n all that fun stuff...the shift light all of that makes in look like the guy is a street racer...any ideas? can a cop take your car just because it has an aftermarket turbo n all that shit?

dude charger cops are fucking slowwwwwwwwww... just to let you know.. i used to live in socal and i had a turbo'd sohc pushing 340whp on 22 psi charger cops were shit to me i only got 1 ticket in the time i had my setup before i sold it, and thats cuz i got blocked in by traffic every other time i would run and get away ... every time...

tommy15 nah bro the the sohc zc has the most aggresive cam of the sohc family....i run 26 pounds on my single zc with a stock head and i put down 405whp and 354tq just make sure you gap the rings and grind some off when you put those in cause they swell like a bitch

yeah but if u blow the b-series its like 3000 to replace it where if u blow a d-series its like 500 bucks to replace and depending on the mods u can just swap them over. b-series are cool but if ur on a budget a d-series is better.

130hp. it has a more agressive cam than any D series. Very underated engine. Mine pulls like a champ. smoke a crx with a B16a in it. =)

What did you do to ake your tuner go all the way? I have the same setup, just Endyn Pistons and OE cam. He wouldn't budge and wouldn't let me go over 20psi. The extra 8psi would put me in the 400's for sure. /

DAMN.... is it a fully worked motor except the sleeves??????? seems like alot of power for very small, open decked sleeves......... very crazy..... this car used to beat my buddys at pacific in Kent, and he used to hate it, but not to long after that, he started smashing on the speed factory hatch, but still crazy fast for a single with stock sleeves

Only mods are eagle rods, vitara pistons,zex 59300 cam, ARP headstuds, and skunk2 intake manifold. Stock Y8 head/valvetrain. Dirt cheap motor. It'll be running again next year but in a different chassis with some changes.

Traps were 133mph on stock tranny w/8K revlimit at 2300lbs. We have a tight ratio trans in it now. Only got 1 pass on it accidentally slamming into the rev limiter @9K rpm in every single gear and it still went 133mph. It will do 10.6 @ 135-136mph on a clean pass for sure. Last time out it had a bad turbo on it missing 4psi of boost and misfiring terribly the whole run, still went 10.9 @ only 124mph!
