No doubt animals have memory... just like people though, depending on the particular dog, their memory is probably limited to the extent of their endowment.... but yeah, they have this one story of a lion where these two guys were the owners during kittenhood and gave it up for adoption at a wildlife sanctuary....18 or so years later, the lion remembered them when they came back to visit.... the lion was jumping on them just like when it was a little kitten...it was a wild lion too!
