Might be like a lot of mmorpgs out there but there are things special to .hack and there is all ready awesome storylines they can reuse or make up new ones. Raids, dungeons, might even add in extra content or just start from the .hack//signs storyline then add the new ones.

But yes there are uniques things like the game itself, the use of warp gates and towns. PvP Tournaments, guild houses. Tournament rewards like mansions and a garden.

Just so when people ask what a .hack mmorpg has to offer. List ------ PvP Tournament Tons of Dungeons and random secret words + hangout spots Raids do exist in .hack. (Skeith etc.) Guild houses and event quests. Character customization + Unique classes Beautiful art + locations and a unique warp system. Treasure hunting when not questing. Random secret areas in areas like in .hack//g.u. The classes in .hack are my fav.

@asamstr There are edits of tracks made specifically for production. What you're listening to is most likely the original draft from which they recieved samples for the TV edit. It's also possible that there was no original in the first place, and they cobbled this version together into a complete song because it just happened that way. Sometimes, small tracks don't even make it into the soundtrack and stay in the original production forever.

A friend of mine used to run a custom/private RO server, and his custom client he gave us all came with customized music from various sources, but mainly a lot of it was .hack//sign music.

Every once in a while I'd come across a map with this song, either while grinding, or on a hunt for rare mobs with hopes of getting rare items. Any time I hear this song now, it reminds me of those days, no game since has been able to compete with the memories that RO gave me, along with this music, and anime.

They feel more comfortable when they're alone because social situations make them nervous, but when they see other people interacting and having fun, that kind of happiness seems unobtainable and far off to them. When they do make a friend, they start to feel normal, but then their old, familiar, negative thoughts rise from the back of their minds, and they begin to close up again. This song was my childhood.

yuki kajiura=the perfect cross between new age and classical music. her music is absolutely genius, musically and lyrically as well. i have just always loved how one song can be a relaxing new age song and then a classical-like masterpiece. she knows an amazing amount of languages too. her music never gets old :)

Yuki Kajiura Has a great voice, I think almost ideal for her genre. I love the mix of like electro-techno beats and folk like music.. I havent heard it anywhere else other than this soundtrack. Very unique sound. Goes very well with the anime.
