I do know about the Omanis, we both share a common friendly relationship, for example the same thing happens the other way round, for example a celebration of Scottish culture takes place in Muscat every year where Scottish food and dancing can be enjoyed. We have a long history.
Well the first song they're playing is the Moreen (or the Minstrel Boy) so that's an Irish tune, so like most bands they'll probably play some music from the British Isles, or do you mean like a CD of their music?
I'm from Oman and I must say Bagpipe is very popular here and HM the Sultan has his own Bagpipe and usually the shows on National Day and military shows, I have some videos of the Omani Military Musical Show a.k.a The Tatto Omani Military Musical Show. I Will upload them here soon in You Tube.
the best band in the arab world is oman south bridgade which has won many troophies world wide ,they get them retired in their 30rs old mainly because they're black people !
