Honestly watching the intro to this song played gives way more enjoyment to how amazingly talented Supertramp musicians were! Which I took for granted when I was a kid!
I have longs hands that are up to the point its easy to play piano but I got ADD and I don't know how I can play both at the same time.I guess I will keep practicing.
wow you are awesome man this video is so good that i recomended it to a friend who is a great piano player btw lol and he said it was because of this that he learned the quick bit of the intro...
Helped me alot thanks! The hard part was writing all the notes down but after that it's not too difficult, just needs practise getting faster. I posted my own vid of me playing this if anyone wants to see:)
That is awesome. I'm gonna have to learn that. I recently got a hold of a vintage Wurlitzer electric piano. Like the one that is actually used in the song. In my opinion, no keyboard can compare to a fully restored vintage Wurly.
i got the sheet music from the book Best Rock piano intros and learned it in five months. once you learn the fast solo in the begining, the rest is easy.
Thanks for the great post! Between this and sheet music from a midi file, I should get this piece mastered in about ten years. Checked your site and listened to the CBC interview -- now I'll pay more attention when the Sens are on TV.
This is so koollllllll...I bought the sheet music thinking I could at least learn a litte bit but noooooooo way. Then you post this and I can almost follow it but not quite. Can you post again but slower and with your fingers down lower...?...LOL.
i almost have it all down except for the notes between 1:17 and 1:24. Is there anyway you can post the notes played in that section or the sheet music.

I'm dying to learn it also, it's not an easy one but I love watching people play it. I'd pay to learn it and in slowere then slow would be so kool.
