  • I hate when people comment trying to tell someone they don't know that "omg your cat is hurting it a dog won't hurt it" or" you should take better care" bs like that clearly you are there cause you're recording it and they know their animals not you. Besides I see a dog doing more damage in one bite then a cat in one slap. An obedient dog at that. Gosh ignorant people , they are clearly having fun playing , shut up, ;)

  • Good observations albinoelf. Lucy (the cat) never displayed her predatory instincts. She would just lay, observe and respond to chinchilla's horseplay. If never gets rough and both species are clearly having fun.

  • My cat has always played like that with the smaller animals. He doesn't try to eat them. on the rare occasion that he catches one so that it can't get away... he sits there grooming it. It's a matter of knowing your pet. If you watched them at first and waited long enough to be certain your cat wouldn't hurt it, then I see no reason not to let them play. They're so cute too!

  • Thats very dangerous and you should not be letting them play, especially like that.

  • I've heard that chinchillas can't figure it out with cats. The cats loves to play with chinchillas, as much as they like to play with a mouse. And the chinchilla has got big eyes. The cat can destroy them totally. Your cat should be obedient. It's the same thing with dogs. Obedient dogs is not hurting them :)

  • yeah kill that rat thing!

  • Your chinchilla's tail is cool. :)
