  • I remember finding this horrific as a young kid! That flaming spark traveling up the handrail would have passed over his hand and maybe even whole body during the cutaway to Captain Scarlett! *shudder*

  • I will create shows like this today. There needs to be this kind of real danger on television.

  • The amazing thing is how they could create suspense so well with the "supermarionettes" - the acting's better than in many modern live action shows.

  • Yes, this still freaks me out when I watch it with beer on DVD :)

  • @Morcaiden What always amazed me was how realistic the hands were ;)

  • In all honesty- i think that it was just meant for a more mature audience than people today. I was raised on Stingray, Joe 90, Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet in the 90's- and it never had a bad effect on me 2bh [= If anything, it tought me well about Death! ['=

  • That's why I love this series! :)

  • @DarthPeppy Same, my friend... Same ['=

  • @CamsterdamSPguy Amen! I was a 90's Gerry Anderson fan too.

  • "Don't be stupid, Earthman!"

"I'M stupid?! Have you seen the hat you're wearing?!"

  • @Razza1091

"I think you'll find it's a SPACE hat! Ahaha- OSHICABLE"

  • Are there any more episodes?

  • There are 32 half-our eps. in total...I will try to upload some more violence in future! :)

  • The first time I saw this I remember thinking that Scarlet was taking a massive risk, using high voltage electricity to kill a man, one wrong move and it could have quite easily killed him as well :)

  • I remember the real Neilson past out in a snow storm and was burried in the snow and the mysteron agent of him was electricuted.

  • @BurionX Yes that's right, but surely as scarlet is a revived mysteron he would die completely after using high voltage cables

  • how bout some comedy judo chops ala captain blue

  • Yeah, Captain Blue did some great super-fast Bruce Lee neck-strikes, if I remember correctly...

  • So did green in avalanche and he laughed about it

  • lol this is the one i remember bein brutal and it gave me a phobia of million volt cables

  • Me too! I STILL TODAY will not put my finger in a live socket!!! :(
