Rather than having the cars sort of vaporize, they should have had them go flying, break into pieces, throwing the (obviously dead) passengers far and wide.

That would have been much more realistic, and much more effective to the "What kind of **** is this I cant get hit by no f***** train" bracket.

One of the best descriptions of a train hitting a car,is a Kenworth truck running over a soft drink can.I had a friend who repaired railway engines in NZ.90% of his work was car damage,and at least one car a week was hit.

These are the South Australian ads. All they did to use them in NZ was change the slogan from "Don't Play With Trains" to "Tracks Are For Trains".
