  • @coynedogg!!!! May god ""allah"" forgive u n have mercy on ur soul!!!

  • @coynedogg How can you accuse the best human being to put foot on this earth nabi Muhammed (SAW) when you dont have evidence for your sad, pathetic, ignorant accusation.

  • I like his poems. This one I really like..

    .

  • the video is kool son........

  • THANKS!!!!!!! :)

  • Can someone please explain this poem to me?

  • @volleyballlover2014 about a boy he knew, and that boy became fugitive and lived his life so fast in a wrong way and with the wrong mates, that caused his death! simply

  • Can someone explain this poem to me?

    ....it didn't understand it :(

  • MashaAllah this is soo deep

  • this is soo liveee

  • I strongly think its about his friend that choose the path Many others did. And eventually this friend died......:-(

  • what an amazing poem MashAllah, I hate to be this spelling checking weirdo but i can't help it, "angels" is spelt "angles" in the description

  • mashallah, jazakhallah khair

  • The lyrical in this piece is simply remarkable. "I never knew what came first, thunder or lightning. But as life takes you on a ride the resemblance can be striking" The among of literary tools used here is remarkable. Look at the scenery, Life is taking you on a ride, liek your on a road, and the sound of the thunder and the actual lighting are so fast, so close to you (because when you see lighting and you here the sound later that means its far) and you see it striking, seems so striking?

  • This is dope & deep!

  • What does he mean by "But he lied.... and it's raining outside"?

  • Nowadays, I feel you like a poet-philosopher!!! Keep on ma bro!!!! Rabbi si wajjin yaa ta'u!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Loved it, he's amazing.

  • He really let me down, he said that everything would be okay... but he lied

Because I'm looking out my window...

    And it' still raining outside

    i LLLLLLOVED IT.............. keep on

  • did dirt but always searched for a nice clean bath.

  • Mans Awesome !

  • This should've been on the tape.

  • POWERFUL! I am proud of you my brother.

  • "I used to think that everytime it rains angels begin to cry..I felt the same way.. its not kinda dumb.. It just a childhood imagination :) but it made me sad also..

  • Please come to ISM

    We need you!

  • @Gbeans10 I agree with you and I did a lot of poems, and I'm pretty sure that he's talking about his dad

  • If I'm not mistaken, my guess will be that he is talking about his dad because the verse " when I I was young I thought the angels cry" part indicates crying for someones downfall and he's young, and the verse " I said good bye a lot sooner, and I forced my self to cry," it all connects to his youth, and the last verse " everything will be okay but he lied, cuz it's still raining outside, probably means that he's still gon and he's still upset

  • What was the last line about? "its still raining outside

  • @97bravada I think he's talking about a friend who converted from Islam to Christianity... im not too sure though...

  • @sportfreak90210 I'm pretty sure it isn't about that

  • how the hell can someone dislike this?! :/

  • Mashallah. Icpc needs you! Come and preform inshallah

  • This poetry looks a lil bit like Tupac Shakur's biography

    Loved it ! Peace ;)

  • Wow MashaAllah I love it

  • iiiiiiiiii love it, thanks

  • Woow That was Great MashAllah.

  • I dont get it... who lied??

  • Powerful Words.....Fear Allah

  • my father was murdered when I was a young, killed in broad day light....and the stanzas in this poem are words that I could never mentally put together no matter how many poems I have written or open mics I could never do it....this poem sends chills, and watered eyes.

"But he lied...and its raining outside"

  • Deep.........Mashallah

  • :D cool

  • who is he talking about

  • @THE1FBI a friend of his that died

  • ..wow... speechless :|.... <33333

  • Alhamdullilah!...and then there is always that one who dislikes -__-..May Allah Forgive them for they know not.

  • this is breathtaking and the ending nearly made me cry , this is soo deep and true everyone can relatre to this wooooow !!! masha allah !!! can't get enough of his poems their mind opening and thought provoking keep it up brother !! better then any stupid rapper !!

  • My muslim friends in here, remember surah Al-Kafirun. Ignore them, they will tire themselves out soon enough.

Just treat them as no-lifers who do nothing but hate Islam.

  • @martoti No- treat them with kindness and turn our heads. And know that Allah loves. Treating people like they are below you, does not make them like us. <3

  • @martoti Surah kafirun was in a specifc context - after 10 years of dawah from the best of creation was surah kafirun revealed. It is not for us to apply surah kafirun to people who do not fully understand the message .

  • lol does anyone know who this poet is about?

  • Who are you talking about ?

  • Boonaa, AsSalamu Alaikom. A Brother in Islam says Salam, but i got one question, pls tell me what pushes means, and i noticed that this piece is aimed for the majority non so ((faqeeh)) in Islam so thats why you used karma and such May Allah bless & guide you bro

  • Love this! <3

  • Salaam Alaikum

I'm so proud to be your sister in Islam Boona.

  • You're welcome Syd. What was the camera used?

  • @PedroTerra canon 5d

  • MANSHALLLAH HES REALLY TALENTED <3

  • From 0:29 to 0:35 simply perfect. From 0:39 to 0:42 perfect too. I was fascinated by the overwhelming beauty of those scenes. It takes a genious to see beyond simplicity and to make such a wonderful work of art. The choice of the black and white really took the video to another level of greatness. It really made it something HUGE, GREAT, BEAUTIFUL TO SEE, AND OVERWHELMING LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCE. YOU ARE TRUE ARTISTS, THOSE WHO WERE INVOLVED IN THE CREATION OF THIS VIDEO. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

  • @PedroTerra Thank you (this is Syd)

  • My brother you really outdid yourself with this video. Great poem. And the video? What was that video? I wouldn't say it was beautiful because it was far beyond beauty. I don't know whether it was your idea or Syd's but man what an AMAZING video. SIMPLY PERFECT. Perfect scenes, perfect art, perfect capture of the elements. It's amazing how you made someting so pure and mind blowing out of so simple things. It's one of the, if not the, most beautiful videos I'VE EVER SEEN. PERFECT, PERFECT!!!!!!!

  • Masha'allah, I truly enjoyed listening to this. Well said

  • that's wuss up dude

  • Watching this video is better than everything on TV.

  • to those who don't get it be grateful you don't -to those of us who do smile inside all the trials and tribulations, tests and events make you stronger

  • Mashallah Boona is a Beast

  • @alwa3ith

    beast?

    U mean best :D

  • Wow this goes hard! Masha Allah! I love it!

  • @throbule: Lol. 1 person disliked this clip. Let me guess. You?

I'm sure its clear to anyone that Boona didn't invent poetry as an artform. He didn't revolutionize spoken word. And he certainly didn't give rise to the English language that he speaks.

All that being said, Boona absolutely kills it when taking inspiration, blending it with his own passion and stories of life-experiences and bringing out clear message to people.

That's what matters in the end; the message in the poetry.

  • who is he talking about?

  • "Because I say goodbye a lot sooner then most, I remember when he was a king, but now he's just a ghost" 4:05

  • This is a good poem, Especially the part about " friends arent friends their simpily there temporarily" My sister told me that you were talking about your friend... I like how you put it into a story very inspiring..:)

  • MashaAllah- But..Who's He Talking About?

  • mashallah, boonaa mohammed is super legit.

  • A lot of people commenting are missing the MESSAGE. I dont know why you guys are all talking about nonsense. Let's say mashaAllah and leave it at that.

  • this brother is amzing.

  • beautiful vidoe.

  • You're nothing but a common plagiarist.

I won't say what it is you've copied, but we both know, don't we?

By the way, I'd ditch the beard if I were you - beards are so 7th century..

  • @throbule , and clean shaving to resemble women is very 21st century?? Weirdo

  • @wajahatkhan

But why do you want to resemble a woman?

Are you jealous of their tits or what?

You really should try to be happy as you are because I'm sure you're not as ugly as you say you are, and don't forget that sex chnges are very expensive and often go wrong too, so be careful.

    Bless.....

  • @throbule , lol I'm not, I have a beard dear friend.. it was just a reply in regards to ur issue with a beard.. anyways... have a great day :) lighten up toughie

  • @wajahatkhan:

So why do you want to become a woman with a beard?

    That's really weird man.

    You need help.

  • @throbule what did he plagarize? he used a few cliches, but nothing really copied.

  • @BAGELQ:

I don't know just how much poetry you've read, but there is so much in his work that is lifted almost wholesale from poets going back over a very long time, including Kalil Gibran, Wordsworth, John Cooper Clark, Linton Kwesi Johnson....the list goes on.

I edit poetry books, so I do know a little bit.

If Boonaa M seems like a giant of words to you, its because he's been standing on the shoulders of giants of poetry bigger than he'll ever be, (and he knows it too).

  • @throbule You really need to get your facts fixed. This guy is a lyrical genius, better than any rapper ,atleast he has a message.

  • @Sabriya18:

If you took your eyes off his crotch for a moment and listened to his critics, you would realise that he is far from being a genius.

    And what is his message?

Like all artists whether music or poetry, his message is about his ego, and he doesn't care what you or I, or anyone else thinks - all he is interested in is selling his wares.

And that's as it should be.

And let's not pretend that if he was an old, ugly bastard that you still find him so attractive.

    You wouldn't.

  • @throbule

Dirty kuff having to lower the tone coz you have no real response. Keep your filthy connotations and your swears to yourself

Oh I can smell the jealousy from here...

  • @asmauh:

Dirty scuzzlim, having to lower the tone of because you have no mind of your own.

Keep your filthy, repulsive opinions to yourself asshole.

Oh I can smell the 7th century stupidity from here.....

  • @asmauh:

Why are you calling people Kuffar?

    Have you no shame?

You richly deserve that person's angry response.

How dare you behave like a common tramp - just run along and remember that you are far from perfect!

  • @TheProphetMo

An islamaphobe telling me not to call a kafir a kafir? Oh the stupidity.

Sorry you and your friend are too busy looking over other peoples poems.

I guess those who can't, edit!

  • @asmauh:

A muslim telling me not to correct him? Oh the arrogance!

Sorry but what friend are you talking about?

Like all muslims, I have no real friends.

I guess those who are cunts, edict!

  • @TheProphetMo LMASAO

    you r so ignorant.

  • Can someone explain to me what he wanted to give?

    Jazakom Allah khyran

  • @sakurakissb

well since you obviously is hard of understand..

what he gave not wanted to give..

    is simply awareness and advice...

like wtf.... are u ok in the head

  • @CushiticSomalianMale

That is so hateful, what's wrong with you :S

  • @sakurakissb

no your ignorance and arrogance is so hateful.. now whats wrong with you....

check yourself before you wreck yourself... and show some damn respect to this Black-aswad muslim like myself, and this fellow black-muslim brother that you're watching on this video.. ok

now nuff said no more comments from you, mr aboriginal is tired with ur ass

  • @CushiticSomalianMale

mmm.. I think you misunderstood me greatly, and went on replying to what you thought you got.

All I wanted was someone who understood what Boona said and explain to me.. you're a muslim? Nice showing how nice muslims are.

  • Comment removed

  • boona nice video...not too sure about the karma references - but having watched it again, I realize it kind of made sense - gangster culture catching up with him.

  • its ok

  • VERY WELL ENDED!

  • Where did we go wrong? An Eye for an Eye leaves the whole world blind. You pick at karma enough and she'll stop by to say hi.

Nothing special. Despite the impact he had on so many lives, when he died- I couldn't even force myself to cry because I said goodbye a lot sooner than most.

    WoW. And another one!

    BEAUTIFUL POETRY.

  • @marslovesleyley

[005:045] In the Torah, We had prescribed for them (the principle): A life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, and a tooth for a tooth. And for wounds inflicted, a fair retaliation is proper (and due). But if the victim forgoes (the right to retaliate), then that act of charity would be the atonement for his sins. Unjust and evil are those who fail to direct their affairs according to what Allah has revealed

  • @FATAL12SKILLZ Im Muslim but the eye for an eye makes the whole world blind can contradict the Quran and it has no bases in reality.

  • @FATAL12SKILLZ

An eye for an eye is only in the justice system, and only in specific cases. ie. theft, murder, and adultery,

and how effectively it works - just look at history and crime rates...

    other than the judicial system,

it is not applied in all cases. If someone shows you disrespect, you are not required to give them the same manners - just look at the prophetic character ! how many people hated him, mistreated him and he bore with patience.

  • To be 100% honest I felt like I had heard this before. The style and tempo seemed all too familiar.

Still a big fan, not my favorite piece.

  • Masha Allah

  • mA this was greattt!!!!!!!!!!

  • karma?

  • ALLahu agbar fellow black-muslim brother.. much luv from this darkskinned ethnic Somalian-Kushitic brither from PUNTland a.k.a Land of PUNT..

  • you have no idea how all those words are strong.

that was ... wow...the impact was a crescendo. you got it all. seriously...

  • subhanallah...

  • mashallah ALLAHU AKBAR

  • Alahu Akbar < i havent even watched it yet, but Boona is always good, so again Allahu Akbar
