How to fix an MP3, USB, or any usb Thing with memory thats memory crashed

my mp3 just stopped working once i plugged it into my husband car about a month ago. i was just listening to it in the car. then i decided i would hook it up to his usb port for mp3 player that he had in his car. as soon as i plug my mp3 player up it stopped working. it was fully charged. so what do i do now. it wont come on or do anything.oh yeah i even tried hooking it up to the computer but still wnt come on. the computer doesnt even recognize it

My computer can't even detect the actual Mp3 (USB)..

So how am I supposed to get to properties like that .__.
