OK, I've been watching this for a while now.... everyone of then so far and trying to give the guy a chance. But he just suggested some rediculous crap just now: auroa are goning to "ignite" Jupiter and make it the sun. I hope I'm wrong about him suggesting this. But either way... you can't just spark up a gas giant and get a Sun. The Sun isn't a huge ball of burning gas. It's a masterpiece of nuclear fussion.  Nuclear fussion is what produces the massive renewable energy that is the Sun.

My point is that he says that there is something unusual going on with the sun and this is simply not true The 2003 peak was not that unusual and since then the sun has reached it's normal minimum again. Haramein is just talking out of his ass.

ericw. Jupiter is not just a bit too small for themonuclear fusion to begin, it is a factor of about a HUNDRED TIMES too small. The calculations and observations are very clear.

We have also discovered exoplanets TWELVE TIMES AS BIG as Jupiter and they STILL aren't massive enough to initiate hydrogen fusion and become a star.

However, you sound like a conspiratard, so I'm probably wasting my time explaining all this.

So it is not a traditional star, we get it, but it could just mean culturally people have been calling it a 2nd sun because it looks like one. That's still a possibility.

He said that he used to live on mars in a past life. Sounds crazy, but after seeing some of the things i've seen... This kid had some pretty crazy stories for a child his age to make up or to even memorize. He said that they ran out of the fuel that would ignite the reaction on Jupiter.

We are talking about sustained fusion in natural gravitationally-formed bodies, not artificial man-made fusion. And high pressure is still needed. Confinement is a major problem in creating fusion reactors.

The math is very clear, Jupiter is not even close to nuclear ignition. In the sci-fi movie 2012, there was some idea of adding mass, but you'd need to add eighty times or more of Jupiters mass - another 80 Jupiters!

LMAO @ "The surface of Jupiter is starting to ignite". Really? Nope. We've done the math - Jupiter has only 1/80th the mass needed for hydrogen-to-helium fusion to begin. Some like to call Jupiter a failed star, but in reality it isn't even close!

And nuclear fusion doesn't start at the *surface* anyway, you have to apply a lot of pressure and heat to fuse hydrogen,

it needs the compression and temperatures found inside.
