U Rock !! but i have a question ... last week i was in new york at the time square and there was a photo shooting for a model, the photographer was connecting his DSLR camera to a laptop then to an ipad and once he capture a picture the picture appears automatically on the ipad with a full screen view (no import!!), do u have any idea how was that ??

@yezensafi2 The DSLRs are connected to a laptop which serves the data to an iPad wirelessly. There are several apps for this and it works with Canon or Nikon DSLRs. A popular one is OnOne Remote DSLR, but I have never used them.

I'm getting used my iPad 2. Sorry!!! I have a gopro camera HD. It'll video tape &/or take sequential pictures for extreme sports. In any event, I've tried importing my vids & pics via USB chord & it says too much power. Then I've tried the SD card way. It'll import but you can't see the pics or vids. What you can see is "MP4". Then I tried to sync it up with my computer & it basically told that it won't work from the iPad. Help??

@berniedmj1 They must not be a file format supported by the iPad, which is a common issue. However, I'm surprised you can't import the files from the iPad to your computer.

download a program called handbrake, its free. then convert the vids and put them in itunes, they will go on ipad no problem. i have gopro as well and thats what i have to do. hope this helps

@TheSwedishAppGuy You are transferring photos/videos from the iPad 1 to the iPad 2? Videos and photos on those devices must be in the "Camera Roll", which essentially means they are stored somewhere on the iPad in a folder labeled DCIM. Photos and Videos synced to the iPad via iTunes will not be stored in that folder and are therefore unreachable.

@btpuppy Yes you can use a CF card as it's formated in FAT and the photos/videos are under a DCIM folder. Any powered USB hub will do the trick. Instead of connecting the main USB feed to the computer, you would connect that to the iPad's Camera Connection Kit.

I have a Canon T2i, shooting on the lowest resolution. My pictures transfer fine but my videos don't. They show up as a grey box on my ipad 2 without a "play" option. Called Apple and the lady said I had to 1st download to itunes, then transfer to ipad. She didn't sound all that confident, nor did it sound correct. Any advice?
