  • Nice video. +1

  • Also, that is a wonderful skyline shot. You have the John Hancock Tower on the left (North), the Sears (or Willis) Tower on the right (South), and the new Trump Tower dead center!!

  • @lkstrknb NEVER say "willis tower". it's blasphemy.

  • Excellent video!! I really enjoy riding the Metra trains up front at that window, and actually have plans to do videos like yours. I've ridden the Aurora to Chicago express train watching out the front window!

I love all the fancy track-work near Union Station!

  • very nice

  • Aw, so many trains!

  • Ah, makes me proud to be a Chicagoan.

There's so darn many of us who are creative, you sir are a shiny example of said creativity.

  • I found this from the Reddit link. Awesome video BTW and great music choice. Could you tell me what kind of HD camera you use?

  • @TerdVader IPhone 4

  • @DanielDavidAllen Ha, I was not expecting that.

  • On my account, I've got some videos like this of the Vancouver SkyTrain, and the Miami Metromover...very cool stuff!

  • @radiofreebc Have you seen the Norwegian one? Seven hours coast to Oslo. There's a sample on youtube.. but the full thing is free to download nrkbeta.no/2009/12/18/bergensbanen-eng/

  • I took that ride every day for 15 years

  • Lived in Chicago for ten years (Gold Coast and then Ravenswood Manor). Love the city -- hate the cold. That was a great!

  • Would love to see a raw video version of this (no music, ambient sound, real time). Great perspective in any case!

  • @TannerWorld I'm uploading it. You're not the first to ask.
