Hey Soldier, have you ever tried the WOWee speaker? The bottom of it is a gel that when placed on something hollow like a thin table make the table (or window, or whatever) into a subwoofer and it ROCKS. Amazon has it for 35 bucks right now. I bought one years ago under a different name (K-Box) and it still plays VERY well.

I'm with MaxShreds247 on this one. My Boombotix is way louder than my Jambox and for $65, I'd take the BB2 over a Jambox in a heart beat. No comparison. AND it's water resistant. #WINNING.

I use my Boombotix BB2 over a Jambox any day of the week. It's louder and one third the price.... AND I can hook Boombotix up to my component system and just use it as a hub.

I just got this today, because of you. I'm very happy. It's a little pricey but it's worth it. It comes with a ton of accessories and lots of features. One cool little feature it has is you can go online and get different voices and stuff. Like there's a mob one, it's hilarious. It's like, "Yeh, your batteries about full whatever, foget about it" it's funny. And when you turn it off it's like, "Ba Bye" (in that kind of voice) it's just a great device, love it.

I like mine so far. I've only had it for 4 days now. I like the quality of the sound, but it's not that loud. Don't get me wrong, it's has a lot of kick esp. the bass, but it's not loud in volume. It's excellent indoor, but outdoor not too much. But out door volume is hard to achieve with a little speaker. I'm just asking for too much, I know. Overall, I like it. Most likely I will keep it and not return it to the store. It's pricey, but the quality and the looks almost make it worth it.

@bostonManifesto This video is a poor representation of the true power of the Jambox. It's obnoxiously loud, especially dealing with music. The Jambox wasn't made to be a gaming speaker. I don't understand why he'd use gaming as an example of the Jambox's power. I suppose for the dynamic sounds to show the differences. At any rate, the features of the speaker phone alone are amazing. Would I buy one? Hell no, not enough money. If you had the money, though, I believe it's well worth the price.

Soldier, you did not mention that you can change the voice of the JamBox as well as download "speaker apps" from Jawbone such as Voice Dialing and some other stuff. I think one app allows your speakers to read your emails to you?
