OK I'm just a normal person here selling my PSP when all of a sudden a "Nigerian"dude decides to buy it. So I did some reasearch on this nigerian buyer thing and found out nigerian buyers are 80% of the time hackers who steal money from your paypal account or just send u emails that u have been paid and u havent! so u just ship it away and they get ur prodect for free I'm am still debating whether or not to ship it to him if he pays me. U never no this dude could be nigerian. PLZ HELP!!!

my Advice, whatever someone who one pay by using Moneygram or Western Union. Get verify contra number from buyer & straight collect full cash payment from agent remittance money. Then, you can send your shipment to the buyer.

Thanks &This is helpful information. I'm also one the agent remittance money & advice to be becareful of scam email. My friend get almost cheated by one of the buyer. By using fake Moneygram email that money have been transfer & asking seller must verify shipment arrival to the buyer 1st. Luckily, he call me 1st & taking action to stop shipment. Moneygram won't email to seller of transaction & won't care about shipment.

no but most sellers check the box to make bidders that have no paypal already to be unable to auction

so u can auction if the seller stes that option but ur gonna have to pay somehow so u gotta make one or u gotta bid on an offer that accepts checks or another type of payment

I was bidding on an item on ebay and it was getting to the end of the auction and one bidder placed 6 bids in a row, at the same $ amount, in 30 second increments until the auction was done, and ended up winning......what the hell is that? Has anyone ever seen this? How do you "rebid" at the same amount?

an easy way to make money from sellers on ebay, just get junk from car boot sales and buy off ebay an identical item thats good, return the junk and get a refund, good aint it, money for old rope as they say.DONT USE PAYPAL

so he pays you with paypal, you send the video and the buyer says, the video is faulty,he complains, paypal refund him and he returns to you the faulty video and keeps the good one, now he has his £100 back and a working video,you are left with the video thats no good, i know this wors because thats exactly what happened to me, telll paypal and they do nothing

using paypal can be useful for the scammer, like this:you sell an item for say £100, lets say its a video recorder, now the buyer has not told you he has an identical video thats no good but its the same to look at

The scammers asre using ebay and paypal, just search 'paypal scam' to find a few here ... i hvae been ripped of using paypal by several sellers and ebay KNOWS ALL ABOUT IT! They obviously do not care since i found 10 other people scammed by the same seller, we all filed complaints and all lost money with paypal= NOT THAT SAFE! Seller feedback very important, read the negatives, some people refuse to leave negative feedback for some reason, if you got scammed PLEASE SAY SO!

@ JOEMLM: the reason people do not post negative feedback, is that the seller says to you "I will ONLY give you a refund (for faulty goods) if you leave a positive feedback." This means that someone could have said 'positive feedback', but the content of the feedback is actually something like "this is a bad seller", "do not buy from this seller - it is a scam" etc etc... They are told to put positive feedback to get a refund so other people will buy and not want to put positive feedback...

I was actually just scammed out of $9,040 to someone in Ghana, Africa. It was an online dating scam they pulled. I hired a private investigator and filed a claim with a division of the FBI (IC3). I now got his address and real name....Investigator suggests I make a deal with them and let them keep 10% or else... Let's see what happens.
