@8scatterbrain8 At the time I did this I couldn't find a decent guitar tab so I pieced it together from a few tabs that were close. I figured out most of the single note lines by ear. I just checked today and there is a decent looking version on Ultimate Guitar. It's on there as version 3 and it looks close to me.
@loondoo This cat is playing it pretty damn smooth in a standard tuning. My buddy, who is a Johnny Marr enclopaedia, clued me that Marr and the bass player were tuned a whole step sharp for a good many of their songs. If you try that on this one, you can use open chord shapes on guitar; and the bass line plays more fluidly.
nice. i must say the feeling bass elicits in me is nearly indescribable. i guess you could say that is the nature of many of the smiths songs all together, and now that I realize, the nature of what I perceive to be good music: music that can bring about a range of feelings, not just one or the other. What can anyone make of this bass. Overall, is it "happy" or "sad", and forgive me for using such bland terms. I think it damn well holds both qualities.
Superb. Well done
