Same feeling as the other chap below...really, glad the damage to you is not worse...could have been...'cus you're more important then the bike. That said, I think crashing on a BMW puts the odds on your side...
I saw your presentation last week at 2wheelgarage. Its inspires many of us in Malaysia. Its unfortunate to you to encounter that "kiasu" SUV driver. We all riders in Malaysia are equally hates, all those irresponsible driver. Sudden braking, changing lanes without giving signal and Yes,.. those are big ugly SUV drivers.
Just to let you know all the diverse & many people your journey is touching. I'm a fellow motorcyclists from Canada. Glad you are relatively unscathed, (of course it could have been much worse) sorry about your injuries & damage to your bike. I live vicariously through your adventures. Thanks for posting your travels. I have done a fair amount of sport touring over the years, but nothing compared to you. Thanks again for sharing. Keep it twisted, have fun, & most of all be safe. Cheers!

I can't believe the other vehicle followed you and had the balls to ask for cash, while you were laying there with a broken leg.
