One should listen to this tune from The All The World's A Stage Album. It is the opening lick and them Anthem really fukin goes.To say the truth the whole album is just so rocked into oblivion
One of my favorite RUSH songs, and I don't know why people don't like this song, or any other songs on Caress of Steel like "The Necromancer" and "The Fountain Of Lamneth" , I'm in love with those long songs, just like with every other song by RUSH like "2112" track and "Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres", long live RUSH, the greatest band who ever walked this earth.
One of my favorite Rush albums, and definitely their most underrated album and song! Thumbs-up if you think critics shouldn't get paid for their garbage!
Fuck yes! Been saying that for years. To many pussies on the right and left. No one will make the hard choices to get us back to the basics of our "Constitution".
@mackeymax1 ...The American Revolution spawned and encouraged the French Revolution,Even though the French(and King Louis and Marie Antoinette, we all know what happened to those two)) were the ones who lent the US money for their war and weapons including their Navy which won America the war,Then when enough English were dead and they didn't 'win' their American prize, which was all France cared about we said "EFF YOU" to France to and fought them, too.
Influences: Neil Peart: drum wise; Bonham, Moon, Krupa, lyrically;Ayn Rand, Scifi. Alex Lifeson: Hendrix, Howe, Blues players. Geddy Lee: Chris Squire. Fantasy stories as well.
@zzzxxyy I don't know if I'm reading this correctly, but you're saying Alex Lifeson did the lyrics?? No! Neil Peart did most of their lyrics. On their debut album, Geddy Lee did the lyrics, because John Rutsey was drummer.
@CMD9889 That is not what I said. I know Lifeson did not write most of the lyrics. I'm talking about their influences. Read it again. I'm not coming off as nasty, but I'm talking about influences.
One of their most straight forward tunes after Peart joined, and to this day still one of my very favorites. Cuz it just rocks! The new DVD documentary has me falling in love with their music all over again. How can anyone not love this band?
Max Steel Day!!!! :D
