I knew him since I was 6 years old i was 11 when he had died, there was one joke that he told me when I was in about 4th grade that I will never forget. he said too me "What do you call a girl that likes too yell and her name is danny?" i said "i dont know, what?" he said " you get Dannielle!" I laughed so hard because that was my name, I was so happy that he was always there with me and for me, I could tell him anything. My family and I loved him so much. We miss you Mr. Reed, I love you.

i didn't have him or really know him but i song at his funeral and he seemed like such a wonderful person but i bet god is enjoying his company up there in heaven. Hat son for you forever, Mr. Rex read.

This put me through a lot of pain when i first heard of him having cancer....It was painful! He was a role model to most kids.....everybody mostly loved Mr. Reed!

thanks weedb91! @Bobobranden. this video was made in December of 2008 I believe. He wanted to explain his situation to everyone so they wouldn't be confused and also to expel any would be rumors. I just posted it because it's one of the few videos I have of him.

Once a great man always a great man In the past few years i have noticed that Mr. Rex Reed once a fellow teacher always being in a person's life not for the wrong but for the best When i turned that corner and didnt see him in the hall ik something had to be wrong So everyday after lunch i just stopped and stared at the spot in which he stood most days and begun to pray and say to myself what if that was me? So Mr. Rex Reed I dedicate this comment on behalf of all the great things you have done!
