Unarmed Cargo Ships. With War Supplies Men and Munitions being sent to Salamua to be used against Australian 17th Brigade 2nd AIF. And what were Uboats doing in the Atlantic Ocean sinking unarmed Merchant Ships? Or don't you think beyond your own inane comments on YT. Hmmmm it appears not
If you are concerned about this film. Read about the female Aust. Army Nurses massacred on Banka Isand.
Butchering of patients in Singapore Hospital, rape and forced prositution of civilians throughout SEAsia, the Sadakan Death March where only 6 out of 2,000 survived, Toll Plantation Massacres, Ambon, Cannabilism of Allied soldiers, mistreatment of tens of thousands of locals and POW's on Burma Railway, Rape of Nanking, Medical experiments on the Chinese, Death marches in The Philipines etc.
From a German and a Brit. Talking Political Correctness. We might remind you that Politcal Correctness didn't exsist during WW2. For the Brit remember your own men were POWs of the Japanes in Singapore's Changi and the Death Railway in Thailand and Burma. As for the German have you seen the boasting by SS Death Squad Videos on YT or other sources on the NET before you comment again. As for the Japanese in those lifeboats. So bloody what. Aussies remember the Centaur a marked Hospital Ship
Yes Hospital Ships sunk by the Japanese and the survivors butchered by the Japanese. Until you understand WW2 I suggest you study more and comment less as it appears you both know fuck all
It may seem harsh now but in WW2 the Aussies hatred of the Japs was intense and rightly so, have you seen what they did to our boys in the POW camps or the aircrew or Commando's they captured?
Beheadings and torture for us, so the least they can expect in return is the receiving end of a bullet in a lifeboat!
@WTEGog ah the classic ignorant eye for an eye tactic, marvelous stupidity at it's best, the merciless killings of the POW's had little to do with war, in it's own, btw, it had to do with the mentality of the Japanese and to die for the emperor and serving him, the Pow's were considered weak cause they did not die fighting them.. As so, the Japanese considered them like the Germans, untermenschen.
War brings out the worst in people, there is no justification to kill those lifeboats.
@WTEGog And neither was there an just justification to kill and torture all the Pow's etc. It happened, it doesn't mean we cannot learn from it however.
What a great day for the allies. 15,000 Nip murderes and 22 ships at the bottom of the ocean. I wish we would have bombed the Japanese to extinction.
Maybe next time...
Have a nice day.
