Flashmobs need to happen more often and in more places. We as a people of this planet, need more song and dance. Some of us have simply forgotten to take the time to experience joy in the hustle and bustle of our modern lives. There are too many conflicts and too much sadness. if i was there, i'd have to dance , partly because i love the idea of flash mobs, partly because i'd feel lame for not doing it, and mainly because i think it's amazing how God's people can get together as one..makes me smile.

Flashmobs need to happen more often and in more places. We as a people of this planet, need more song and dance. Some of us have simply forgotten to take the time to experience joy in the hustle and bustle of our modern lives. There are too many conflicts and too much sadness. I am grateful to those who have taken the time and put in the effort to bring this much needed joy to those people fortunate enough to be part of it or those who are witness to it. You all are special people. Carpe diem.

WHEN I LOOK at the world, my eyes do not dart all over the place like a fly's or a bee's would. I am human. When I observe, I pause my gaze SLOWLY, from one subject to the next. And I do blink occasionally, you know. That is why, long ago, I stopped watching MTV altogether. (You blink, you miss.) It's RIDICULOUS! Who taught photographers to film like that? And why? (It's probably the stupid EDITORS in post-production who were high on some speedy drug.)

@califunk2121 instead of calling it a flash mob, call it a Random Act of Culture or Random Act of Kindness... if you can't dance, can you sing? there might be other things you could do besides sing or dance. Definitely get principal/student government approval etc first.

@blueskiesmom I respect your right to believe as you do. It's beautiful when people have a deep and abiding faith that guides their personal choices in how they live their lives. Not when they seek to impose their beliefs/faith on others. Perhaps you missed the point? Groups of people all over the world sing, dance, laugh. Not likely that everyone in this mob has same religious understanding. People, not God, did this. Thanks, and Happy Holidays to you too!
